The property is quirky because the kitchen and bathroom are all in the same room. But for a couple who is looking for some off-beat adventure, it’s fine. The place is comfortable and clean. Its quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

From the Owner: "I'd like to respond with something on the lines of the following, to point out that I felt like I went above and beyond, but was never told about this concern.I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the home and yard! I strive to make every guest’s stay as comfortable as possible and was grateful to support you during your stay, including refunding the pet fee after our conversation and replacing the hot water heater in the middle of the night to ensure 100% uptime. All amenities are clearly listed and accurately represented. I always encourage guests to reach out if there’s ever anything they need; I’m happy to help whenever possible. That said, I can’t address what I’m never made aware of."
The house was great for just the two of us! The porch and yard were very nice. We enjoyed returning to the property in the evening and seeing the stringed lights on the porch. The kitchen set up was adaquit for our needs with two people who didn't really intend to do any kind of cooking. The jacuzzi tub was fantastic.
A very convenient stay with a fenced yard for pets. There's a lot of room, everything people need. The bathroom needs are in the kitchen area but it's still easy to make private with a dutch cut door separating the livingroom ,bedroom, & walkin closet/storage from the kitchen & bathroom needs. A lovely country setting about 1-1/2hrs drive from Yellowstone West.

Thanks so much for the great review, Scott! I'm glad the space worked well for you and your pets. The Dutch door setup is one of my favorite features for balancing openness with privacy, so I’m happy to hear it helped make your stay more comfortable. You're welcome back anytime!
This was just what our family needed! We were looking for something bigger than a hotel room, but didn’t need a full house since we wouldn’t be spending a ton of time there and this was perfect! It was also great to have the large fenced yard for the kids to run around for the minimal time we were at the house.

Enjoyed our stay!
Had a lovely stay and the owners were very accommodating. We needed to borrow a shovel to remove a small patch of ice and asked to borrow a wine bottle opener to which they quickly responded and provided for us. The place is as described and the bathroom being in the kitchen area isn’t that big of deal. It has a Dutch door that separates the kitchen and living room making it nice to separate your pets and still keep an eye on them. The doggie door to the outside is a great feature also, and the large fenced yard is perfect for pets or kids to play in.
Having The owner readily available was fantastic. The home is very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Plenty of blankets, pillows, etc. Great decor. I love that there is a table outside to play games and eat in warmer weather. Having the yard for the dogs and the doggy door for access is GREAT. Being able to close doggy door as needed was great too. The custom built fence and gate reflect the owners attention to detail when the property was renovated. It was quiet and very clean. The location is easy to find and situated between IF and Rexburg perfectly. Having an outside spicket was great for washing off paws and cleaning up after the dogs.
First of all, this property is out in the country in the beautiful open fields of Rexburg Idaho. Plenty of open roads, that arent heavily trafficed, to take your dog for a walk. We enjoyed going several times a day during our stay. The fenced yard accessed by a large doggie door was perfect for our little dogs to have a little running space and a slice of freedom. The inside of this house was decorated so cute, with plenty of towels, wash cloths, shampoo & conditioner and soap, plasticware and other dishes provided. The cots were perfect for the kids, and they slept soundly as did my husband and I in the queen bed. Plenty of dresser and cabinets space to store our things during our stay. The kitchenette/bath combo was perfect for our little family. The mini fridge kept our few perishable items cold.We enjoyed going on local hikes, visiting Heise Hot Springs (highly recommend) and just enjoyed the overall beauty of this scenic countryside. The kids also loved the Gravity Factory (trampoline park).I would highly recommend this property if you have a small family and dog and want to get out and explore the amazing outdoors that Rexburg, Idaho has to offer. We had a great stay and I would definitely stay here again. 5 stars

I like the way the area is fenced, it provided privacy to us while my family and I were there. I like ot when the owner offered us a 50 dollar hospitality discount. However, the things that needs improvement outweighs the things that were nice. First and foremost, the cleaning and damage protection fee is horrendous. My family and I stayed in a far better property and we were not charged exorbitantly on cleaning and damage protection fee. I found the toilet and kitchenette being together with only a curtain covering the toilet not pleasant to the eye but also to the nose when someone is using the toilet and you are cooking or eating at the kitchenette. The photos in the ad purposedly hid the toilet from view so I did not notice it when I was making the booking. The carpet in the living and in the room as it was evident on the white socks that my wife wore while in the house. My 6 years old had bugs bite when he slept on the carpet. The shower glass should be removed from the bath tub as it is a potential hazard as it is loose/shaky. The shower curtain should be enough. The glass divider does not serve a purpose and is obstructing most part of the shower curtain. The rented property should have its own aircon temperature control. Because in the morning the aircon is full blast but at night time it is warm. The temperature is controlled by the owner in his house which is adjacent to the rented property. This property needs improvement. I am not planning to stay at this property

Hi Silahis, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review: - The cleaning fee is below the industry average. Our damage protection fee offers extensive coverage without having to put down a large deposit and gives you peace of mind during your stay. - Our listings are carefully built to reflect our properties in an accurate light. We use detailed descriptions and professional photos that showcase the layout of the kitchenette and bathroom arrangement from several angles. To ensure that our guests make informed decisions that align with their preferences, we strongly encourage them to thoroughly review our listing before booking. - We’ve confirmed that we do state that the bathroom and kitchenette are in the same room in the listing description. - The carpet is professionally vacuumed after each guest and deep cleaned every month. It is a brand-new, plush carpet replaced less than a year ago. - Our routine pest control service is performed as a preventative measure and is above and beyond a regular pest control service. - Cots are provided to allow children and extra guests to sleep off the floor. - The shower curtain is purely for privacy. The glass is designed to swing out for easier entry and exit. It prevents water from splashing out and is necessary. The door has been inspected and it is not loose. - The A/C is maintained at 68°F year-round unless otherwise requested, as stated in the email sent before your stay. A simple text message for a temperature change would result in an immediate adjustment. - The homeowners always try to be available for our guests and made several attempts to reach out, but unfortunately, they couldn't get through. They would have been more than happy to address any concerns if the guests had contacted them.We have worked very hard to provide a clean and comfortable place for guests to enjoy and will continue to do all we can to provide the best possible stay for our guests!
