This was a great place to stay for my family! Great central location for everything in Sea Pines. The unit itself was exactly what it says it is! We had plenty of room for my family of 6!

Everything was exactly as shown. The unit was large and well equipped. Lawn chairs were appreciated. Everything was very clean. Check in was easy. Our host was quick to help us with an issue that came up before check in. Location is great for Harbour Town and the beach. I definitely recommend it and would stay again in the future.

Our stay at plantation.

The only negative is if it’s very cold outside, the unit could only get up to 68 with the heat. The one bedroom is very cold When it’s cold outside. We were at plantation when they had about 4 inches of ice and snow. Which is very unusual. Will be back in April for a week.

Dryer did not work upon arrival. This was discovered after having 2 loads of wet clothes and towels. Contacted host who said he was aware dryer didn’t work but didn’t notify us ahead of time. With all the checkin communication , he never once mentioned that he was waiting on a part for dryer. We ran short on clothes since we were unable to do laundry for entire week and had clothes and towels hanging all over condo trying to get them dry. Cleaning crew did drop off additional bath towels mid week.Condo did not cool any lower than 76 degrees. Thermostat said to keep between 70-74 so we set it to 72. It never dropped below 76 degrees.Everything seemed damp our entire stay including clothes in drawers, floors, and counters. Ceiling fan in 2nd bedroom did not work.Ceiling fan in master bedroom was hooked to sensor in closet so it only stayed on for a 30 min period and would automatically shut off. I contacted host who said he would drop off a fan but never did.Kitchen was poorly stocked. No food storage containers of any kind. Overall condo felt dirty at check in. I thought it was weird that the beds had no mattress protecters or pads but maybe that’s the norm? A sheet I’m sleeping on directly on mattress seems dirty to me.

Family Get Away

We unfortunately stayed during a rainy period. The condo was well appointed for us to be able to relax play cards and games watch television and otherwise spread out so that we were not in each other‘s way. Location is central in Sea Pines with great biking, and driving access to everything Sea Pines has to offer as well as the rest of Hilton head Island. Plenty of beach towels, higher quality, beach chairs, and the beach wagon was a lifesaver for the 10 minute walk to the beach club. Having the pool immediately, adjacent to the condo was fantastic. Provided sun and shade to be outside when you didn’t want to fry at the beach. Upon arrival, the vanity in the master bedroom was dirty and had to be cleaned. The ceiling fan and light in the master bedroom pretty much had a mind of its own, and that it would come on and off and speed up and slow down without us, even touching the controls, and would not work when we were operating the controls. Lastly, the washer and dryer is great however the dryer heating element seems to be out as clothes would be dried for over an hour and not be dry.Once these minor items are fixed by the owner, this is absolutely an excellent place to stay.
