The White House-Studio

The Studio is one of two, dog friendly, accommodations located at 27 Christmas street .
The Studio is surrounded by natural bird life and century old gum trees.
Major roads surrounding are sealed .
The Property has off-street parking. Concrete lit drive ways. Two queen beds, on two levels with access via spiral staircase, and an additional pullout double sofa bed located in the lounge room if required.
The space
Warm inviting studio completely seperate, sharing only outside parking areas .Wood fire or split system.
Kick back, read a book, watch the smart TV access your apps, or listen to a record, to assist with slowing down. Or for the on the go types enjoy exploring the many tracks that lead to many walk ways along the shoreline. The well known board walk on Bancroft Bay can be accessed via 1 minute stroll from the property. Meander and explore the Metung village and specialty shops.
Bring your kayak or paddle board to carry down to the water edge.
For extra beddings book the Loft House opposite to your accommodation.
Accomodation includes Continental breakfast provisions for breakfast for the first morning stay.

Guest parking off road next to accomodation, 4 steps up to the deck and private entrance .Guest can feed the local bird life, seed provided Guest can walk around the gardens.

Great location in Metung.

Well presented accommodation, quiet and peaceful with a lovely host. Perfect if you are looking to stay with your dog. Tracey was able to look after the dog while we had the morning at the Hot Springs…a fabulous bonus.Highly recommend this location.

Great accommodation

We were pleased to find a great place where we could bring our dog. Comfortable beds. Kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle allowed us to prepare simple meals. Although we didn’t use it, there appeared to be a BBQ available. Room available for parking our boat.

comfy stay in a secluded area

We had a great time at the studio. We didn’t know the kitchen didn’t have a sink and you needed to take water from the toilet tap. Is it doable but not ideal. Other than that, great stay. Good communication and clean and beautiful studio. Thank you for having us .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the studio and would happily recommend it. We were sad that we couldn't work out how to use the record player though. The host included a number of little surprises - on our way out we even found an umbrella hanging on the door. I've driven through Metung but never stayed, but what a delightful spot it is. Metung has given me an opportunity to meet so many new friends, I wouldn't of without being a host.

Why they chose this property

I moved to Metung because of my love for the water . Metung is also a lovely dog friendly community with many tracks to explore. Metung feels like a playground for the adults. Once you come, you may never return home.

What makes this property unique

It holds two separate accommodation properties at 27 Christmas street. Book both studio and loft house for bigger group /family catch ups . The loft house has full kitchen where the studio has breakfast bar only. A pop up sink in bathroom to wash dinnerware.
Both are surrounded by stunning gardens and birdlife.
It is a 1km short walk into town from the accomodation. Private off the street parking.
Travel with you fur babies don't leave them home.
