Quiet oasis close to a beautiful beach
Want to get away from it all, but with a grocery store close by?
A couple of minutes from a beautiful, sandy beach and wonderful views over the Ottawa River to Quebec. Very shallow and sandy, perfect for swimming and kids. Watch the sunset across the water. Woodland walks, or Nordic skiing in winter. Nature at your door. This is the place to completely unwind.
The house sits on a beautiful quiet street and backs onto woodland.
Comprises an L-shaped sitting and dining room with a piano and comfy reading chair. Large eat-in kitchen with large fridge/freezer, built in oven and ceramic stove top, coffee machines (including Keurig), toaster, kettle, egg cooker, electric hand mixer etc.
Bedrooms - 2 of the bedrooms have blackout blinds and 2 have room-darkening curtains. Pack n' Play available on request.
Family room with TV.
Basement with pool table, wet bar and additional seating area.
Laundry machine and dryer.
Lots of books and board games as well as kids books, games and toys.
Great wifi for streaming your favourite shows, gaming or working if you really need to!
Deck with Barbecue.
Not far from Grouse Park which has a large play structure - keeps your little ones busy for hours. Unity Park in the centre of town also has a great play area.
Tim Hortons, the LCBO, Independent grocery store and Canadian Tire are only minutes drive away, amongst many other stores.
Boat launching close by.

We had a fantastic stay at Ken and Kirstie's place! Kirstie was really responsive and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house had such a lovely, homely feel and it was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed, the beds were super comfortable, and it really felt like a home away from home. We especially loved relaxing on the deck and having a BBQ in the evenings. Thanks for a great stay Ken and Kirstie. We highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay!

This was an absolute gem of a home to stay at: Clean, Comfortable (it had EVERYTHING and more that one would need), and the hosts were easy to contact if needed. A well-cared for and charming home. Our kids loved the yard and all the games while adults could just sit back and relax. The beach is a quick walk down the street. The evenings are quiet with only nature singing. If you want a home to stay for you and your children, this is the place. Signed, Happy Mom :)

This property was excellent for a large family gathering. Everything that you could possibly need was there. Ken and Kirstie were helpful and answered any query that we had. I will be back!

Most of all we love the sandy beaches close to the house and across the river. We love walking and biking, enjoying the beauty and the peace.
