We had a great stay! Central location to town and the ocean! Very clean, well stocked and beds were very comfortable. Our host was easy to get a hold of and accommodating when we had to leave a day earlier. The best part of our vacation was being able to bring our dog with us. So happy this place is pet friendly!

The cabin is in an excellent location and the unit was clean. We loved that the backyard and front deck were fully fenced. It allowed our dog to wander from the front of the house to the back of the house with no worries of escape. One thing of note is the king bed mattress in the primary bedroom may need replacing soon as it has divots where each person sleeps. Not a huge deal, but I do believe some guests will be disappointed to find that. Thank you for having us! We wouldn’t hesitate to book this unit again.

We are an energetic elderly couple and are so happy to have found this comfortable cottage in Oceanside Village Resort in Parksville. The location was perfect, in a very quiet area yet close to everything we wanted including Rathtrevor Beach. It was very clean and well decorated, stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay (we appreciated the folding chairs to take to the beach) and even had a private porch front and back, so that we could sit outside with coffee early morning and late night. There are two bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, washer/dryer, 3 tvs, a bbq, and all you need in the kitchen. Glynis, the host, was very nice, this was the first time we had rented a cottage like this and she made it very easy for us, answering my questions and letting us know she was there if we needed anything. Five stars for this cottage and we will book it again!

The bedrooms were great and very comfy. Both bathrooms were clean with the option of tub or shower but only two rolls of toilet paper in each for a week was a bit cheap as was with no extra garbage bags but what was in the the garbage cans. The kitchen is well equipped with most things needed but missing a regular coffee machine. Both front and back decks could have been cleaned up a bit. We could not use the BBQ because of mold. We had a comfortable stay and it is in a great location.

The cottage was like a home away from home. Clean, comfortable (especially the Main bed), spacious and well located. The location was ideal for us. Close to shopping, restaurants, beaches & trails. The resort is well maintained & quiet. Communication with our host was great. All instructions provided were clear. As the result we were able to set up, relax into our stay then pack up/lock up with no need for additional information. Thanks Glynis, much appreciated.

Perfect Holiday Home Away From Home

Lovely cozy home, spotlessly clean, very comfy beds & well-equipped for a family stay. We were able to relax from the moment we arrived because Glynis had thought of all the details. We’ve stayed at quite a few VRBOs now and this is our new favourite. Location is central to so many amenities, beaches and restaurants.
