Gorgeous house: special experience

We really couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our Sea Ranch visit. The house is situated on a breathtaking bluff right at the ocean. It's absolutely gorgeous, private, with beautiful views everywhere you look, and outfitted with everything you could possibly need (great serving pieces, a vast array of kitchen utensils, glassware, several coffee/espresso makers, even a whole selection of vases for the flowers I brought). We loved the beautiful little deck at the edge of the bluff, and the large and lovely deck right out the back door, where we barbecued, practiced our oyster shucking skills, and relaxed in the sunshine. The two bedroom suites were beautiful and private, very spacious (the downstairs suite is especially grand), comfortable and spotlessly clean. I wish we had been able to stay longer, but look forward to rebooking one of these days. A fabulous place to unwind – highly recommend it.

Amazing seaside stay!

This beautiful house is situated in a beautiful spot just above the shore of the ocean, with waves swirling around rocks, birds soaring overhead, and sunsets glistening on the water. Although there are wonderful nearby places to explore, it was hard to tear ourselves away from this gorgeous space.

Great coastal house

This house is A+. It stands out because of the location/views, and because it's built with a personal touch and nice finishings -- a place where you'd actually want to live, not a typical rental home that is built to optimize profits. We will be back.

Incredible views for a relaxing getaway!

The place was clean and the views were unbeatable. Brian was super kind and walked us through the property. Waking up to the view of the ocean and hearing the waves crash against the rocks were the highlight of the trip. The little bench overlooking the view was so perfect and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. I Would definitely come back, and recommend 10/10

We had an extremely stressful week leading up to this trip. This was the perfect stay for thoughtful reflection and planning. We saw whales and dolphins. Played pickleball and golf. We left renewed!

Oceanfront House Overlooking Sea Ranch Bluffs

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this house with the large grassy front yard and back decks. We were visited by deer and quail in the front and bunnies and jays in the back. We loved sitting on the platform on the bluff, watching sea lions and seabirds go by. The other houses on either side of the house are screened by trees/plants, so there is a sense of privacy on the decks. The highway is just one street over, close to be convenient but not obtrusive or loud. The house was comfortable with great art/decor and very clean but could have used sharper knives, microwavable containers, replacement frying pans (which were already on order by owner), and the opportunity to compost trash. The owner was very communicative, calling us the first night to welcome us, provide instructions, and offer us a gift certificate to a local restaurant, then checked in with us the next day. Although appreciated, we recommend providing updated written instructions as well due to the house's unique features (lighting, TV, washer/dryer, bidet, etc.). The shower, gas fireplace, and TV worked well. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. The property was just down the road from Gualala and Stewarts Point for restaurants, groceries, and gas station, and only an hour or less from Jenner/Bodega Bay, Salt Point Park/Kruse Rhododendron Reserve, and Fort Ross. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend the Indigo Tide beachouse in Sea Ranch to all.

Best ocean view

Great house, great location, loaded kitchen and great host!This place is very close to high cliffs and the mighty ocean! Fantastic for adults but small kids, not so much.Not sure why luxury jetted tub and shower in master suite is exposed by giant window? Anyone on the deck, enjoying the ocean view, can also enjoy you naked in the shower. A HUGE inconvenience when staying with friends. Couldn’t use it. Bummer. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Brian

Loved Indigo Tides!!!

We loved our stay at Indigo Tide. This home checks all the boxes: Utterly spectacular views of the ocean with comfortable sitting areas inside and outside to stare at the sea.The organized kitchen has everything you need. The furnishings and decor are all high end. Much love and thought was put into this home. The beds are comfortable! Brian was a warm and gracious host. He was easy to get a hold. We have been coming to The Sea Ranch for over 30 years and this is definitely one of the nicest places to rent at Sea Ranch. We plan to visit again.
