Everything was perfect, cozy, and clean. The bed was very good, the heating was excellent, and it was equipped with everything you need for your stay. We loved it and highly recommend it!

The cabin inside was absolutely beautiful and so clean. We enjoyed the accommodations and they thought of everything. Our only issue was that the deck was not cleaned off and had mold which really shocked us because the inside was immaculate. We were surprised that they didn’t come and clean the outside knowing that we were reserved to come. Also, they need to let people know that the road leading to the cabin needed some work so an unexperienced driver might have a problem. But overall, it was a great weekend of peacefulness and being in nature.

Wonderful little cabin! We enjoyed our stay and our kids enjoyed “the cabin!”. Only reason for giving it 4 out of 5 star on cleanliness was because the lower deck was dusty and not recently cleaned. Inside and main deck were excellently clean.

We had a wonderful stay at the Elegant Escape. The kitchen was the most well-equipped of any place we have stayed. It was very cold one day so we were able to use the fireplace which was very cozy. We also used the fire pit and made s'mores one evening. It was so much fun being in the tree tops in the fall. We really enjoyed our week there and did lots of things in Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

Great Cabin - Private and Relaxing

This was a great cabin for our family of four, two adults and two teens. The cabin was also very private and not in a busy neighborhood, very quiet and relaxing. The cabin is conveniently located between Blue Ridge, GA and Ellijay, GA for quick grocery runs or visiting the towns with what they have to offer. There are also many trailheads and waterfalls in the area for some great hiking and sightseeing. It is a great cabin with a great host. I am glad we stayed there for our trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Beautiful cabin in a remote location. We were in the area for a wedding and had the four tier wedding cake to produce just as the AC stopped cooling! They brought us fans and we made it work. Then we had to get it down the partially washed out road (drive your most rugged vehicle!) to the venue. My partner and I stayed a few days past the wedding and while the AC never got fixed, the temps were not so hot that it was a big problem. The fans helped a lot.

We got to the property and walkways and deck was covered with spider webs and leaves which we cleaned off. They will call driveway had a bad wash out which was tough to get out even with a 4x4 truck. They will call couch was old and the recliner backs were bent back. Had to remove a roach on main floor bathroom. Had padding under bathroom rug which made door hard to shut. There was dust and dirt on floor along baseboards. House floor plan was great, real fireplace was great, beds slept good but main floor ceiling fan didn’t work. Kitchen was well supplied.

I loved the property! It is beautiful. I would suggest a thorough cleaning due to the following:Window sills and blinds need cleaning/dusting, air return filthy (we swept it out), washer smells moldy and very bad. I didn't want to risk washing my clothes as smell awful. This may be what is causing smell in house. Deck and patio needed blowing off, lots of spider webs. A quilt in trundle room closet is dirty with mouse droppings on it so didn't use, and vacuum full of debris and also smelly. A bit more attention to cleaning would make this a lovely cabin.
