BEST WALLENPAUPACK SUNSETS - LAKEFRONT CHALET W SEASONAL DOCK/AC/Private Setting

Enjoy the best of Lake Wallenpaupack in this Lakefront Chalet which is located on mile plus wide North Eastern section of Lake Wallenpaupack, settting the stage for dramatic sunsets. The views include one of the wider expanses of the lake, stretching out a mile across toward Epply Island. Bring your boat and tie up to our dock, and enjoy beautiful relaxing days on the water. Barbecue on the Deck or cook in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy campfires at lakeside.

The chalet includes a loft bedroom with a Queen size bed and Private full bath and 2 main floor bedrooms, one with a Queen size bed and one with 2 twins, and a 2nd full bath. The large glass windows provide magnificent views of the lake, sunsets, moonlit nights reflecting on the lake, and large pine trees on the shoreline.

The Sunset View chalet is located at the end of a private road, with only 3 other houses, so the setting is relatively private. The dock is located right in front of the house and is shared with our Sunset View Cabin. The cabin has wifi and streaming high def tv.

This property is next to our Sunset View Cabin (Homeaway.com #4137262) and both properties can be rented for larger events, family reunions, etc.!

If you are a looking for a great location for family fun and relaxing reunions with friends this is the spot. However, if you are looking for a place to have a loud all night party this would not be a good location as we are in a family-friendly area and the township enforces a 10pm noise curfew. Thanks for understanding!

Guests typically bring their own towels and bed linens, bed sizes are 2 Queen size beds, 2 Twins and a Full size sofa bed. However, towel and linen service is available at additional cost if needed. Just let us know. Sorry, pets are not permitted.

Enjoyed our 3 day, 2 night stay! The house is very clean and comfortable. The owners are very happy to share any needed information on the surrounding area. There is a public boat ramp and parking within 5 miles.

Lake front getaway

The home was clean, organized and the ideal location for a family getaway on the lake. The dock was perfect for watching sunsets and swimming or tubing. The fire pit was wonderful for family time in the evening. We hope to come back.

Labor Day vacation

Enjoyable stay. The location of of the property was great. It was convenient to everything and did provide dramatic sunsets. Only issues were the steep terrain to access the dock and the rough, unpaved driveway.

Excellent lake house

This vacation rental home was in an excellent location. The house was very clean, the kitchen had everything that we needed for meal preparation. The path down to the dock was a little steep and rocky. Would not be good for anyone with ambulatory problems. It was wonderful to be right on the lake and have our boat at the dock.The only thing that would have been better was if the rental had a washer and dryer. That would not prevent us from renting this home again however!

First time ever renting a house and it went great. It was a small incline to the fire pit and not a lot of steps to the lake. The doc worked out perfect to keep our boat and to do some fishing. Plenty of room and central AC made it very comfortable. The fan with the tall ceiling kept everything very cool. Loved the wrap around porch over looking the fire pit overlooking the lake Sunset were amazing. WiFi was not the best but we are up in the mountains and it worked just slow. Lots of parking and really close to grocery store and other activities and stores. We had Amazing time!

We have 2 homes on Lake Wallenpaupack which are available for rental. Both are lakefront and located right next to each other. Each has different characteristic that makes it special. We fell in love with this special spot on Lake Wallenpaupack because of the spectacular sunsets over the very wide expanse of the Lake. The views stretch across lake which is over a mile across.

Why they chose this property

This home is 7 years new and has all of the modern conveniences, including wireless internet, 2 full baths and central Air Conditioning. Its ideal for those who want the best of lakefront living, while not sacrificing the comforts of climate control and modern conveniences.

What makes this property unique

We are located on one of the most scenic areas of the lake, providing the setting for spectacular sunsets from the dock. Private setting at the end of our small private road, parking right next to house and no cars driving by except your own, yet close to many restaurants and area attractions.
