I loved my stay here. Nice neighbourhood, and a great walk along Madrona daily. Lots of friendly neighbours, passi8ng a HI as I walked by. Leslie was excellent. Always available. I will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay.A perfect little private cozy getaway. Leslie was very nice and welcomed us when we arrived. She made for us some delicious blueberry and some fresh blueberries she grew from her garden. A cute flower arrangement from her garden. We look forward to going back and highly recommend this vacation rental. It was perfect driving distance for us to visit all our favorite places.

Very clean, quiet, well-equipped property suitable for couples. The bed is comfortable, the space has plenty of light. Leslie and Sean are the nicest people and gracious hosts, the location is convenient for exploring Parksville, Qualicum, Coombs, etc. Grocery, pharmacy and gas stations within 10 min. drive. Highly recommend the property and the hosts!

Gorgeous place to stay! Very private and super clean and cute!All the amenities you could need were provided although I couldn’t find a broom.As soon as I reached out to my host, a broom appeared on my doorstep!Perfect location near my son and his family and an easy riding distance.There were views of the ocean and the sunsets looking out that way were gorgeous!Not too far from town and Madrona Beach right at the end of the street and around the corner, was magnificent!Fabulous hiking and biking trails about 1-2 km away.I had also brought my bike and my hosts were so accommodating to let me keep it in their garage.Can’t say enough about this fun and exciting place!!

Apon arrival, there is a nice privet driveway and cabin. The host (Leslie) was very accommodating. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend staying here. The wife and I will do just that if we are in the area again.

The loft was a perfect size for my husband and I. Everything was spotless and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to the beach and alongside the ridge. Short drive away to some great hikes ( the map on the loft’s wall was really handy). We loved our stay at this cute loft! Thank you Leslie for the hospitality and brownies!

Peaceful oasis!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the barnacle loft. The place is very cozy with all the necessary amenities. The newly added BBQ on the deck was a great addition. The area is extremely peaceful, lots of birds around the property, great neighborhood walks and nearby beach access. The host is very lovely, she came to meet us a dinner time. The attention to details is quite noticeable and truly makes it a home away from home!

This Madrona Point area neighbourhood has a “peaceful, easy” feeling of rural living. Only steps from local access to beaches where you can go for a swim, launch your kayak or paddle board, or dive in the Madrona Dive Park. A favourite area for cycling and walking, or a short drive to hiking trails and Rathtrevor Beach Park makes for great exploring in beautiful island surroundings. We are within the Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, making wildlife and bird watching top picks in our area. Note: We are in the Regional District of Nanaimo and are not affected by the new provincial Short Term Rental legislation.
