Welcome to Emerald Beach! Perfect for families and small groups at a price point that is intentionally great value. With 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom this is a perfect getaway, business trip, or cozy home base while exploring the north coast.
Situated a short drive from beaches, walking trails, rainforests, Sandy Beach or Woolgoolga, Moonee Beach, shopping, restaurants and more!
Features include a fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine, seasonal fruit, washing machine, reverse cycle air condition, linen and so much more. There is a welcome guide for guests which includes suggestions about places to visit, activities to do and places to eat and much more.
The apartment is under the main house. We have made a number of improvements to soundproof the noise from above, however, you will hear some noise. We are very conscious about making your stay as comfortable as possible. The apartment is completely seperate from the main house and has a private entry and no access by the owner once inside.
The space
Located on a large, semi-rural block of land which gives the feeling of being in the country, yet you're only a few minutes from the beach, waterfall trails, restaurants and shopping. On one side is the sea and on the other is native forests. There is an abundance of wildlife, from native birds to wallabies, possums and lizards. Close to the highway making it convenient and easy to find without the noise.
Inside, you'll find a bowl of fresh fruit upon arrival. There is a coffee machine, tea, instant coffee, milk and some cooking essentials. Breakfast is on offer in the form of a selection of cereals, pancakes, toast and a variety of spreads. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and homely with features to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The main room has a queen-sized bed while the other has a bunk bed with a single bed on top and double bed underneath. Upon request, there is a porta cot and fold out bed we can set up for you before you arrive. There are books and games for both kids and adults alike for rainy days. Beach towels, umbrella, seats, pillows and buckets and shovels are included for when you visit the beach. Ceiling fans have been installed in every room and there is an air-conditioner for maximum comfort.
There is a trampoline outside for the kids to play on and a swing for babies and toddlers. Outdoor table and chairs to help you relax. The outside is natural bushland and has an abundance of native birds and wildlife. Our aim is to turn the property into a semi-farm stay with chickens, bees and a vegetable patch to offer guests fresh produce when they stay. We hope to have better outside amenities in the future including a BBQ area and utilisation of the balcony.
The nightly rate is inclusive of cleaning and all we ask is that the apartment be left clean and tidy when you leave.
Guest access
A lock box is used for access. The code will be shared closer to the time of arrival.
The unit is on the ground floor; however the driveway is steep and not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair. The property is unfenced so children may need supervision when outside.
Interactions with Guests
Although my family and I live in the house upstairs, we prefer to leave guests to enjoy their stay without any interruption from us. The apartment space is completely private. Having said that, my Husband and I are only a message or phone call away should you need anything. We are happy to chat and share any insights you need.

Other things to note
There is a dog on the property and her name is Bella. You will likely not see her as she spends most of her time with us upstairs or doing her favourite thing which is going for walks on the beach :) In the unlikely event that you should meet her, she is large and will likely bark to alert us that there is someone she doesn't know on the property. She is not aggressive and will not approach you but rather bark from a distance.

We have been in the Coffs Coast for 2 years. We originally hail from Alice Springs, Northern Territory. We came to Coffs Coast not knowing anything about the location but have fallen love with how special it is. We are enjoying water sports and watching the whales sail past on their seasonal migration. The rainforest and waterfalls are spectacular. We enjoy travelling and understand the challenges with small children. That's why we offer a family friendly space for young and old but enough room for everyone and at a price that is affordable. We are passionate about sharing the best that this part of the world has to give.
Why they chose this property
We had a checklist before we moved to the Coffs Coast. It had to be 1. near the mountains, 2. it couldn't be a big city, 3. it had to be close to the sea and 4. the weather couldn't be too humid! Coffs Coast ticked all those boxes for us and more! The more we explore this region the more we love it :)
What makes this property unique
Offering an affordable family stay is what makes our property unique. We wanted to provide a family friendly option for people who have 4+ family members or a small group. We have travelled a lot, and at times it has been challenging to find accommodation that is comfortable, spacious, clean, has cooking facilities and a washing machine. There is room for kids to play outside while also being a short drive away from beautiful beaches, shops and restaurants. We try really hard to make the guest experience positive and enjoyable.
