It’s a cute rustic cabin with a lovely view of the lake. We picked this place for location and internet access. We had a couple of power outages during our stay, but our host kept us informed and we didn’t mind. We would definitely stay again.
Had a very good time at the Muskie point cabin. Had everything we need to enjoy our 5 days of fishing. Owners provided us with a few items we had forgotten and also pointed us in the right direction to find the fish. Thank you for a great stay.
The cottage was comfortable, our group had 4 people. The dock was good for two boats, had power for charging batteries down to boats. Owner said he was going to put a enclosed fish cleaning station. For now used the table on lower deck to clean fish. At night had to deal with bugs. Owners are new and are working to keep improving the property, they are very friendly and helpful. Would go back to this property again.
The view and access to the lake is superb but the property needs lots of work.
Owners are nice and easy to communicate with (they live beside the property so issues are resolved immediately) and provided necessities for a comfortable stay but the property needs work. No doors on both rooms are the lowest points so might not be suitable for guests that are not families. Kids loved internet access as well as the games provided so we were never bored on that rainy night.
We did feel the warm cabin vibe but overall the property is tired and desperately needs updating for some folks with higher standards. Tons of potential due to location.
