We had a wonderful stay! The location was amazing—right on the beach and in a quiet, peaceful area. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. My husband and I spent each morning on the porch watching a pod of dolphins feed just off the shore. The house was bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the hot tub, and the outdoor shower was super convenient for rinsing off after the beach. A laid-back, family-friendly spot we can’t wait to visit again!
Me and my dog had a quiet and peaceful few days at this very cute beach house with amazing ocean views. Grocery store not far down the road and Tia Juanita Fish Camp and Stingaree restaurant also a short drive away. We loved it!!!
House is great, clean, everything worked. Location is great if you want to be left alone. Not a lot to do in the area. Beach is not well kept. Construction is ongoing at Rollover Pass.. so there is some noise and you can't access the beach back to the west. But this won’t last forever. We enjoyed the house and would stay here again…
House was lovely but a few things need addressing. Door was unlocked when we arrived. Hot tub cover was off. Giant booger on wall by kitchen table/back door. Dishes in cabinet were wet when we arrived. Dishwasher didn’t dry dishes or clean very well so we hand washed and left them on counter to dry when leaving. Couldn’t find any linens except a comforter (that didn’t smell clean) for the sofa bed.
I don’t usually make negative comments but this place has some problems. Starting with several really soft spots in the floor. Not sure how much support is under that floor. Also we had trouble with the hot tub. The response to the problem was addressed quickley but not sure tub actually works correctly. Now maybe not everyone that rents properties cooks much but that is one of the reasons we rent homes. The kitchen was not well stocked at all. There were a lot of pans and baking pans, but only 1 mixing bowl and another that was cracked. There were not many cups/glasses. There were several shot glasses though. There were only 3 or 4 kitchen towels and no dishrags. This was interesting considering you are expected to wash and put away dishes prior to leaving, which meant hand washing in order get that done in time for the 1000 out time. The other problem was there were only 2 packs of dishwasher detergent. So I had to buy some. There was 1 roll of paper towels and a total of 4 small rolls of toilet paper. ( So yes I had to buy all of that). The can openers ( there were 2) are both so dull they don’t open cans. Had to punch through the can many times and pry it open. We did like the area and the beach. The lay out if the house was nice, parking was good. Beds were comfortable and it seemed clean when we got there. Oh lock was tricky. Need a new one or at least some graphite. Also locked myself out twice without using the key. Not really sure how that happene

Great Location, perfect family getaway
Our New Year and birthday vacation started off dramatically when we were caught in an F3 tornado just 28 miles from the beach house, which unfortunately totaled our vehicle. However, once we arrived, the rest of the week was peaceful and enjoyable. This was our fourth year coming to this house, and as always, it didn’t disappoint. We were excited to see the new additions, like the fire pit and hot tub. While the fire pit wasn’t working, we used the hot tub a couple of times, though it’s not the main reason we come. The house and location are truly the perfect family getaway. Days at the beach are blissful, and nights are even better with the windows open, letting in the sound of the ocean. The deck is a standout feature—a serene space to meditate and relax. We also love the local restaurants, which never fail to impress, and the friendly, welcoming locals add to the charm. We’ll definitely keep coming back. It’s a great location that feels like a home away from home!
