Enjoyed our stay at Kings Creek. The beds are super comfy. It’s stocked with everything we needed. They accommodated us with a one-level, handicapped unit for my aging parents with knee issues after they had checked us in to a regular unit which we didn’t realize when we booked that it had stairs.

House was amazing! Ac could have been a little better. Seemed like maybe the filters needed changed but opened the windows for the cool evening air 👍. It was 2 min from water country (not open yet), 3 min from target and Best Buy (for spare sound machines 🙃) and only 7-8 min from both Busch Gardens & colonial Williamsburg! The indoor pool was great evening cool down too! Over all 5⭐️ for sure.

The unit itself was not as clean as it could be. There was dirt in the bathtub and the area under and around the end tables in the bedroom had not been vacuumed for awhile. The layout in the kitchen was strange with a small tv placed above the refrigerator presumably so you could watch it from the loveseat. The area was quiet, but the shared facilities are quite a distance from the a lot of the different units.

Could be better

The cottage was much worse than the photos. The online photos are of more expensive or updated suites or are taken to deceive. The beds are excellent. The two units we saw are otherwise very dated. Clean but in need of replacement except the beds. The internet is not wired, so it's slow, drops often and has no security. The TV is so old you can't stream or connect HDMI, so it's just commercial cable, and it doesn't swivel. Not the end of the world, but in a resort room in the evening it's crazy that in 2025 you're stuck watching commercial cable. We didn't get a chance to use the amenities. They may have added to a family stay.

1 bedroom was small. Pull out couch was stuck and would not pull out. Front desk sent maintenance within 10 mins and they fixed it. Excellent location. Indoor pool and activities center were great! Kids loved it! Also got to see the northern lights from balcony so left very fulfilled and pleased with trip

“Luxury”not so luxurious

Luxury 1 bedroom wasn’t so luxury. Old nasty couch, hair all over the bathroom, and small TVs. Shower was extremely small, had to tuck my elbows and I’m only 5’3. Bed was comfy.

The linens weren’t there for the sofa 🛋️ bed. Had to get them from security. The sofa bed needs a new mattress as the binding was unraveling. Also the outside dryer vent needs to be cleaned.

The room pictures in ad did not look like the place we stayed in. We had a small one bedroom cottage and we reserved a one bedroom luxury cottage which had a nice living room with fireplace, we did not have that. So disappointed in that.

False advertisement

Booked room with a jacuzzi upon check in was told we needed to book the whole unit. Unit with jacuzzi was unoccupied for our entire trip. Ending up leaving a day early. I would not recommend getting the unit that is downstairs in the winter unless you are cold natured heat raises to the top hard to keep warm with vaulted ceiling.

The only real negative is that you can hear everything from the adjoining units. So extremely noisy and not very private. The unit was clean however the bedding is uncomfortable to say the least. They use cheap mattress covers to cover up old mattresses and the top covers are extremely uncomfortable. The employees are very helpful and polite. Also, it says you have to turn in your keys upon checkout however I had an early flight and there was nobody there so I just slid them through the front door. They should have a drop off box or something for early morning late night departures.
