The area of east Deer Valley is brand new and still under construction. No dining, shopping, or grocery options within 15 minutes. The hotel is very nice, clean, quiet. Shower wasn't very hot at any time during our 3 day stay. Could not reach management staff outside 9am-5pm with question about check out. Piochet is not fully up to speed yet. If I were to ski Deer Valley again I'd stay in or near the town of Park City.

Great Property Horrible Customer Service

The property itself is beautiful, new, and exceptionally clean. The unit was spacious, well-maintained, and fully stocked. However, the customer service is virtually nonexistent. During check-in, the front desk staff was unwelcoming and provided no instructions—just handed me the key with no guidance. I even had to ask what floor my room was on, and no information about the facilities was given. Now, I’m trying to resolve a $50 charge on my account along with other billing questions, but my calls are being sent straight to voicemail. If you’re looking for quality customer service, I’d recommend staying elsewhere. This is simply a clean, upscale place to stay—nothing more.

Not great

We were awaken at 5:00 by construction vehicles, heavy machinery and the beep, beep, beep of reversing trucks. You are literally in the middle of a construction zone. Also, pictures of the hot tub are misleading as one hot tub services all of the buildings. We had to drive to the hot tub. The design of the bathroom shower allows for water to get all over the bathroom floor. Very bland accommodation, sterile and no warmth. Although reception was responsive to our lost luggage needs, when asked if there was a way to Deer Valley Ski resort from the property, they said no....even though there is a gondola across the street.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient

Room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed, a huge walk in closet, a slot kitchen, and big bathroom with a shower. Easy access to the Jordanelle lift at Deer Valley. Amazing!

5 star place with 2 star check in

I liked the brand new place but their check in communication could be improved. People probably come here in January to ski. There was no mention of how to catch a shuttle to the lift which is nearby but may be too far for many to walk with their gear. No mention that you could valet your skis overnight at that lift. No mention of how to checkout and where to drop your key since desk isn't always manned. Told all info I needed like WiFi password, checkout, etc would be in the room. There was no information in the room. Like the place but didn't like the communication that would have allowed me to maximize my skiing experience.

I was quoted a rate for this hotel in Canadian Dollars by Expedia however the hotel charged me same amount in American Dollars. There is some miscommunication and Expedia is not getting back to me. So this means this property cost me $150 more than I was expecting.not fun to see this in my Mastercard.

DISAPPOINTED & MISLEADING: MISSED OPPORTUNITY As a seasoned traveler, I’m comfortable staying in simple accommodations as long as they’re well-executed. Unfortunately, this property fails on several levels. It’s a missed opportunity that misleads guests and falls far short of the standards expected from a location marketed as part of Deer Valley Resort. MISLEADING LOCATION: The claim that this property is a “1-minute walk” from Deer Valley Resort is blatantly false. It’s a 58-minute trek through snow, isolating guests far from where they intended to be. With no shuttle service to the resort, guests are left stranded without transportation. This deceptive marketing led us to an inconvenient and frustrating stay. SUBPAR FACILITIES The accommodations are more akin to poorly maintained dorms than mountain retreats:Floors: Cold, cheap linoleum. Furniture: Basic Walmart-quality with no effort to create a cozy atmosphere. Lighting: Harsh, sterile, and uninviting. Dimmers could improve this drastically. Kitchen: A tiny coffee maker and a stove that takes 20 minutes to cook eggs and 40 minutes for bacon. Bathrooms: Minimal counter space, short hospital-style curtains, and no towel hooks.Bedrooms: No TVs or full-length mirrors.AMENITIES? Stiff, gym-grade linens. A smelly laundromat instead of in-unit washers/dryers. No dishcloths, safes, or other essentials.POORLY TRAINED STAFF: During peak season, the “supervisor” was on vacation, leaving undertrained staff to manage.
