This place was beautiful, quiet, and felt like home even though home was far away. If I ever return to Rome, Boiardo Art House will be the only place I will stay. It was far more comfortable, clean, and restful than anywhere else we stayed. Absolutely lovely

Do not stay here with a family

This property listing should be removed for lack of accuracy and being totally inappropriate for families. What is not clear in the listing is that this underground apartment is multiple bedrooms coming off of a common area shared by all guests. Our family (2 adults, 2 children) were placed in two such bedrooms. One bedroom had a bathroom, the other didn't. Doors locked from the outside (you could lock people in) or from the inside (needing a key to unlock). We had to sleep with bedroom doors unlocked so that our family could all access the bathroom at night and be able to access each other in case of emergency. But that means that us and our children are sleeping with unlocked doors with strangers. Fortunately, the beds were comfortable, but we absolutely would not have rented this place if the sleeping conditions had been disclosed. This booking platform needs to provide accurate descriptions to maintain the trust of customers. This was also the worst value for money in our two and half week trip to Italy. Unless you know what you are getting and are ok with it, I don't recommend this place at all.
