We definitely enjoyed the condo at Sunchase IV. Excellent view and close access to the beach. The condo was very clean and organized. We will for sure be coming back to stay at Sunchase IV, we have no complaints!

Location and waterfront view are amazing, able to walk to the beach safely and convenient. The place is outdated, there’s water leak from the ceiling on the half bathroom, they were able to send a technician to fix the leak so it wasn’t so bad. Unable to adjust the ac on the kitchen area. Will recommend this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The pool area was clean and the water was warm. Our condo had dishwasher detergent and laundry available with detergent as well. So, we were able to head home without dirty laundry to clean upon returning. The beach was a short walk away. Shopping was also a short walk across the street.

Family Vacation 2024

The views are amazing— seriously lives up to the name Sunchase; from sunrises to sunset, every balcony gave us a spectacular view. Beach is a short walk away. And we loved playing tennis in the morning.

Condo 905 needs update, master bedroom bathroom was very noisy and could not sleep well due to the noise plus the blinds were broken and couldn’t close them. Kitchen sink was plugged. Building needs more parking spaces.

The condo was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable, even the Murphy bed. All bedrooms are upstairs with bathrooms and that is a plus. The kitchen was awesome and spacious with all the supplies for a family. plenty of games, puzzles and books. the beach view is stunning. We had an issue the last day with the water being worked on. The beach is a little bit farther than I thought but to wake up with the view wss a good trade off. I will definitely stay again in this same room.

The TV did not work. After trying everything I had already done they swapped it for a tiny one. From a 50” to a 24”. The hot water would not last through a shower. They called a plumber who showed up later on the day after we left, so only cold showers. No offers to move of explanation or adjustment in bill.

AVOID! Room #912 Lawsuit waiting to Happen

Avoid room 912 rented it for a birthday party absolutely horrible not comfortable at all as there was no dining room table to sit down and eat or display a birthday table with a cake because the table had a leg that was broken I was about to fall on everyone. internet did not work the entire stay kids were mad. water gushed from an upstairs bathroom onto the floor where are toddler slipped and fell.this has been the worst stay we have ever encountered in South Padre Island Texas the hotel was beautiful and offered their assistance but sadly it was way beyond their help. Clearly the people before us damage the room and failed to notify the hotel. Avoid room 912! Beds were absolutely horrible made so much noise with every single move.blinds did not function. Birthday party had to be moved outside so much call the hotel to complain sometimes no answer after the second day we gave up. Checked out and left.

Things to improve.

It was pretty difficult to get support using the phone. I keep being pass to different group. It is common to hear 'we don't support Sunchase IV and then when we call the given number it goes to voicemail. I left multiple voice message and no one got back to us. Very bad. Getting additional tissue paper was also an issue. The additional foldable bed support is also damaged. There are missing bulbs as well.

We did like the decor in the condo and the view from the balcony was amazing! Unfortunately, when first getting into the condo and checking the rooms, restrooms and all, I was disgusted to see wads of dried up hair hanging from the shower wall and a wad on the bathtub floor. That made me question the cleanliness of the whole unit. The screen door leading to the patio was so difficult to open and close. We were very disappointed with the internet connection. We were unable to watch the Olympics for a couple nights of being there as the TV was not working and was only able to watch bits and pieces of it on the third night due to the bad connection.
