The property is old, but in good condition. Doug and Jao assisted me all the time and answer my questions about place. Yeah, also i picked this place for the wash and dry. Iwas able to take care of mt laundry.

A Well-Deserved Break at Luna Hotel da Oura

I recently stayed at Luna Hotel da Oura with some good friends, and it was exactly the break we all needed – and at a fantastic value for money. Our two-floor apartment was a total win – spacious, comfortable, and with not just one but two balconies. The view from the top floor was incredible, stretching across the town and right down to the sea. Perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink while soaking up the sunset. The layout was ideal for socializing too – plenty of space for when friends from the other rooms wanted to pop by for a drink and a game of cards before heading out for the evening. It was the perfect spot to unwind and catch up in style without feeling crammed in. The rooms themselves were well-appointed, with comfortable beds and blackout curtains that made it easy to catch up on some much-needed rest. The pool area was another highlight – plenty of loungers, a nice little bar serving cold drinks, and a laid-back vibe that made it easy to forget about the outside world. Location-wise, it’s close enough to the lively strip if you want a taste of the nightlife, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. We dipped into the buzz of the bars a couple of nights but were always happy to return to our spacious, comfy base with that stunning sea view. For what we paid, it felt like a steal – great facilities, loads of space, and a brilliant location. Would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a well-priced break.

We enjoyed our stay at the Luna Hotel da Oura. The rooms are very large. A few things need to be repaired in the room we had. The towel bar fell off and the bottom dishwasher rack needs to be replaced. Other than a couple of things, the hotel was very good. Easy walking to The Strip but a little farther to Old Town. Very nice hotel. The young man at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful.

Pleasant hotel with a view

Nice hotel - we had a room with bedroom upstairs and TV room lounge on the first floor. Could use a little renovations but accommodating and efficient as well. Had view of the pool which allowed for pleasant distractions. Overall, well situated hotel and superb professional staff at the front desk.

Lobby was beautiful, bedroom was dirty, floors in room looked like they hadn't been cleaned when we arrived, curtains in room had black and brown stains all over, pool needed cleaned as water is pool was dirty, if u didn't know the where the hotel was it can be difficult to locate. Bedroom needs updating

Not worthy of 4 stars, very dated

Hotel is in a good location and whilst it has all the amenities required to make it four star, you will be sorely disappointed by your room if you’re expecting four star comfort. The rooms haven’t been updated since the 80’s and are extremely depressing If they’d spent as much time on the accommodation floors as they have on the ground floor then it would be a half decent hotel Basically they’ve put lipstick on a pig !

The room was comfortable but a bit dated. The blowdryer was one of the boxed units attached to the wall (circa 1970), but it worked fine. Lobby was really quite nice. I would have used the indoor pool sauna and jaccuzi but you are required to wear a bathing cap...which I dont have. You also have to rent pool towels to use at the indoor and outdoor pools

Good hotel, near the ”party street”, away from old towns fuzz. Travelled alone. Pros: - nice size room with basic amenities PLUS kitchen (fridge+mini freezer box in it, microwave, hotplate, accessories etc.) and own balcony. - working wifi. - working A/C. - grocery stores nearby. - walking distance. Cons: - because of the location, there are partygoers yelling in corridors at night/morning and someone sleeping there in the middle of the day. - 2 single beds instead of 1 queen. This should be something to be considered everytime someone checks in alone, especially when you are asked about it.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. 30-min walk from Albufeira old town and 15 minutes from Oura Beach. If you are planning on going to the beach, bring your own towel! They charge 30€ if you bring the towels from the room to the beach. Then, when we asked for beach towels, the person at the front desk said we couldn’t get them until the spa opened at 10. At 10, we went to the spa (which was still closed). We then went back to the front desk only to find out the towels were there she whole time and not at the spa at all. They then charged us 1,50€ per day per towel and asked for a 10€ deposit for each. For whatever reason, the person at the front desk was making it very difficult to get towels. The towel experience left me with a bad impression of the staff, but otherwise, the hotel is great!
