Great family oriented campground. Very well thought out. Friendly people around! Sunday they had a lobster roll truck roll up!! Yum!! Swimming pool was nice for the kids but chilly for me. 😋 We had a nice stay in the Black Hills!

Needed something quickly and pet friendly

It was just the right size for the quick visit we needed (couldn't beat the price). Was able to have our dog with. Pool was was a bit chilly but once you got in and moved around it got better. Not quite sure if the bed was a queen but it worked just fine got a good night rest.

Beautiful views out front door, pool, hot tub, bar & grill that also serves breakfast. Property management was very nice. Cabin was perfect for two adults, two kids, and two 100lb dogs.

Very accommodating to change us to a cabin with private bathroom after I mistakenly booked one without. Bar tender and cook such friendly people to visit with. The pool did have a little algae issue but didn’t stop the kids from swimming. Definitely would return!

Facilities were clean. Cabins need minor work as far as lights and some of the bathrooms in the cabins. Wanted to shower Saturday night but due to something no water was available for a period of time, so ended up just going to bed. All in all the stay was great!!!

It had a lot of beds so our family had enough. The sofa bed was broken and looked like it had been fixed to be a sofa but would not recline. The cabin was clean. The bathrooms were clean but the shower area was not. It was convenient for the trip.

Overall will stay again

Check in and out was super simple. The cabin futon was screwed upright, this was a disadvantage to us as we needed the bed of it. They kept having septic system issues causing the water to be shut off and restrooms locked up. Staff was very friendly. They locked up the office early, we needed some stuff and hours are 8-8, noone was there at 7 something. If you get cold easily and have the ac on bring an extra blanket or ask for it at check in.

Convenient area

Positives—Stayed in cabin with bathroom. Doable size for two people, would be cramped with four. Microwave and fridge nice to have. washer dryer facility…reasonable for $2 per wash load, $2 per dry load (40min dry time) Workers at check in and restaurant are nice. Location is fantastic—we traveled to devils tower, Mount Rushmore, North Dakota, rapid city and other areas. Convenient to freeway. Has pool and hot tub—did not use so don’t know condition—pool water did look cloudy. Negatives-Cabin smelled of sewer mixed with pine-sol cleaner the entire stay. Mattress needs replacing, awful crater dip in center. Jets in tub do not work. Tub faucet is pulled away from wall, needs to be fixed. Had to wash bath towels or get charged for extra. Luckily we had only two people in cabin stocked for four—except only one hand towel. If need more $3 charge. Bought some at Walmart—cheaper and can use at home. Windows do not open so no fresh air unless prop unscreened door. Ran ac unit entire stay.

My granddaughter loved the pool. The cabin had plenty of room for my family. Their was 4 of us and we were all happy with bathrooms and showers and beautiful grounds surrounding us.
