It was very quiet but we did go in February so there were very few people and no one camping across from our cabin. The surrounding area is beautiful and Trinidad and all it has to offer was just down the road.

What a beautiful place surrounded by redwoods. You feel like in the middle of the forest but with great accommodations and close to everything. I would love to go back. Highly recommended.

The lodge was cozy with a cute back patio in the trees. Well stocked with everything we needed to cook and a grocery store was very close by.

Overall great time staying here. Awesome food options just down the street, and there were plenty of outdoor activities within an hour or less drive. Only downside was slow wifi, but my partner and I didn’t need it much.

We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Forest. The campground is stunning - we had a massive redwood right next to our cabin. There were a few issues that came up during our time there, but the management team was very responsive and helped us resolve them. If you want a peaceful, sylvan place to stay while visiting the Redwoods, this is a great option.
