Enjoyed the location. Easy walk to everything we would like. Shops, beach, restaurants etc. Bikes were an option we used every day. Quiet and clean. Also noice top floor with work out equ and a sauna we used often. Never did figure out how to heat up hot tub. English not spoken widely so it required us to get out of our comfort zone. Go to this hotel you won't be disappointed. We had to cut our trip short because of COVID-19 but look forward to returning one day.

The property was great, employees awesome. The daily room cleaning was ok, was not happy that the jacuzzi was not working otherwise very happy with the hotel.

Cafe da manhã péssimo, nem tem como descrever...., banheiro muito pequeno. Pedi um quarto com sacada e realmente era mas, a visão, era de telhados. O ar condicionado não funcionava direiti. Se vc tem SUV, esqueça. O estacionamento é para carros pequenos.

1.4 Merit Aparthotel is in a fantastic, safe area of Montevideo with plenty of excellent bars and restaurants nearby and just five minutes walk from the Rambla (waterfront). Our apartment was clean and well looked-after and had great facilities including fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster (plus a tv in the living area and in the bedroom! For a comfortable, inexpensive stay in a beautiful part of the city I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!
