Great Location and Helpful Staff

Our family stayed 3 nights - 2 adults and 2 children, 9 and 5 years old - in a classic standard. It was a 1 bedroom with a king-sized bed and a sofa bed in the living room/kitchenette. Good sized. No views but you could hear the singing from the gondolas. Using the stove and washing machine incurs separate costs but usage of the microwave is free. 2 minutes walk from Piazaalle San Marco and 5 minutes from Rialto Bridge. You can't ask for better location. The staff were very friendly and helpful and recommended excellent restaurants.

Good location but not worth the value

Location was good. We chose the hotel because of what we saw on the web. The actual hotel was very disappointing. Washing machine was in the apartment but we have to pay to use. There was no scenery as what was shown on the web. TV in the apartment was the smallest hotel TV I have ever had. Design of the apartment was poor. Not worth what we paid for

We could not ask for better location in Venice, and the rooms for our family of 5 were very big. Staff was great. Water taxi will also take you right to the front door from the airport or train station. I would absolutely stay at Corte Grimani again.

Hosts were great pre- arrival and on arrival. We had an ant infestation to the point where they were even in our beds!! The hosts initially tried to blame us for leaving crumbs and sugar around and also for not having the sheet turned on the first day after we arrived. (even though we didn’t use appartment for eating) They did quickly come and clean, however there were still ants (not as many) the next couple of days. Have bites all over my legs and body, as do my kids! Didn’t even offer any reimbursement considering how much the property costs, wouldn’t expect this at all. Happy to remove the review if reimbursement is given.

We had the best time in Venice from September 26th to September 28th. Venice is a beautiful city and we had a wonderful stay. This is where to stay if you want to be in the middle of this fantastic city. And than you have Vanessa! The best host you can hope for. When we are going back to this adventure of a place, we are going back to stay right here. Spacious apartment suitable for a family of five.

Awesome host

Vanessa was the best host we have ever met. She gave us perfect instructions on how to get to the hotel and great recommendations for food and activities. It is 2 minute to Doge Palace and the square.

Loved our 2 night stay at this beautiful Residence. Right off the canal and within a 2 minute walk to St. Mark’s Square, this residence offered my family of five a beautiful, clean and air conditioned apartment in a perfect location. We couldn't have asked for a better arrangement. The owner also reached out to us with excellent directions prior to our arrival. My only grievance is that using the laundry machine costs 50 euros. Otherwise, it was perfect. Will recommend to everyone I know heading to Venice.

This property is a true gem. Our apartment looked over a canal with gondolas passing by regularly... gorgeous!! The location was top notch. Grazie (our host) was super helpful and made our check in and check out very easy. She even recommended a few great restaurants that we tried and loved. The place was air conditioned (a huge bonus in July in Venice). I cannot say enough about this property. You have to stay here if given the opportunity!!

This a great hotel! We felt so well taken care of. We were contacted before we arrived to be sure they knew when we were coming and to ask if they could help with transportation from the airport. Vanessa at the front desk is a treasure! She was SO HELPFUL with giving restaurant advice and helping make our stay as easy as possible. She even tracked down my dad's walking stick when he left it on the water taxi! The location of the hotel is convenient to St Mark's Square and a gondola hub, but was quiet at night and felt very safe. Our room included a separate bedroom and kitchenette. Could not recommend this property more-- a gem!

Excellent location in the middle of Venice - easy access to both St Marks Square and Rialto. Host Vanessa was very helpful, with whatsapp messages before we arrived and a ton of helpful suggestions. One point of clarification: the apartment DOES have room for four (one double bed in the bedroom, a double sofa bed in the main room) and that was perfectly comfortable for the four of us. I'm not quite sure how you'd sleep six but maybe they have extra beds for that. Also an in-room washer/dryer which you have to pay for but we used it to good effect in the middle of a tour that included Croatia, Italy and Greece. Warmly recommended!
