lovely place and people. However, I discovered a failure of communication from Expedia to the hotel. Expedia fails to inform the hotel whether the booking is fully paid. Without the voucher, the hotel had the booking but not this information. A system failure at the Expedia end.

Appartement vĂ©tuste, fenĂȘtre qui s’ouvre seule avec le vent, ODEURS nausĂ©abondes provenant des Ă©vacuations de la salle de bain, et TV fonctionnant avec un monnayeur alors que selon la description elle inscrite dans les avantages !!!! RĂ©frigĂ©rateur qui faisait un bruit terrible nous obligeant Ă  l’éteindre afin de pouvoir fermer les yeux!! RĂ©sultat une rĂ©servation de 3 nuits et nous avons fuit dĂšs la fin de la premiĂšre !

Koselig leilighetshotell sentral i Valle Gran Rey

Koselig hotell sentralt i Valle Gran Ray. Fine leiligheter med god mulighet for Ä lage mat selv. Kort vei til supermarked (rett over gata) eller stor Spar butikk med kjÞttdisk noen hundre meter ned i gata. Fin gangavstand til strand og restauranter. Koselig betjening og fine uteomrÄder med basseng og solstoler (dog er bassenget ikke oppvarmet) sÄ det kan vÊre litt kaldt for de som ikke er de tÞffeste hva angÄr badetemperatur. Flotte turmuligheter i byen og eller pÄ La Gomera. Hotellet anbefales for familier bÄde med og uten barn.

Get away without worries. everything organised.

Away from the main tourist destinations, but plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Food was excellent for a cafeteria style facility. Reception was very helpful and the animators (people organising the events in the resort) were enthusiastic. Swimming pool large and deep. Generally a well run resort although looking a bit tired in places.

All rooms for a sale

All rooms advertised for sale (currently e64k) many seem to have been sold. Room very basic with some shabby finishes. Door lock appeared forced and badly repaired.

Grreat place thanks to Iballa!

We felt very well at Laurisilva. The kitchen utensils are certainly minimal, no good cutting knife, no microwave (nowadays this is a must!). But some of the staff at the reception was very helpful, especially Iballa was outstanding, gave us most useful information and always made us feel like family. The opening hours of the pool are quite odd, only from 11:00 to 19:00. The location is very good, close to a Spar-Market and to a parking lot.

TrÄkigt lÀgenhetshotell lÄngt frÄn stranden

Hotellet har sett sina bĂ€sta dagar. Det var i stort renoveringsbehov och i vĂ„rt rum lĂ€ckte det in vatten ifrĂ„n bĂ„de fönstret och terrassdörren (nĂ€r det regnade). Vi hade en stor pöl mitt pĂ„ golvet. Badrummet luktade ofrĂ€scht och blev inte bĂ€ttre pĂ„ hela tiden. Filtarna i sovrummet var inte tillrĂ€ckligt varma utan vi frös. En lĂ„da trillade loss, kaffebryggare fick vi be om (och sedan byta ut för att den var trasig. Strunta i frukosten. Den serverades i ett mörkt rum och var minst sagt trist. TV kostade 1€ per timme och wifi fanns endast i receptionen. Poolen var inte uppvĂ€rmd (=iskall)

Valitsimme Valle Gran Reyn ja Laurisilvan tukikohdaksemme La Gomeralla. Matka oli aika pitkÀ ja vaivalloinen yöllÀ vuokra-autolla satamasta perille kapeita mutkaisia teitÀ ajaen. Takaisin satamaan ajomatka oli maisemiltaan huikaiseva.

Rommet var reint og alt fungerte. Standarden er enkel og noko gammaldags. BassengomrÄdet var fint og skjerma for vind og innsyn. Bygningane viser tegn til slitasje utvendig. Sala sett hadde me eit godt opphald.

Personnel sympathique et accueillant, installations de qualitĂ© (piscine, tennis) mais l hĂŽtel est un peu dĂ©fraĂźchi, les appartements manquent d'Ă©quipements (pas de micro onde, cafetiĂšre, peu de vaisselle et couverts), la tv payante Ă  1 € de l heure est un peu mesquin. Wifi gratuit autour de la piscine, bonne qualitĂ© de matelas.

Appartement wurde tĂ€glich gereinigt. Aber durch Feuchtigkeit in den WĂ€nden mußte man immer gut LĂŒften. WLAN war ok! Swimming Pool, Personal usw. in Ordnung. Lage ziemlich gut zwischen Vueltas und La Playa
