So so

First night, was given a defective room so the room was extremely cold. The hotel changed us to another room. Although the boiler was working and the room was warm, but the fridge and hair dryer were not working. They rectified the defects the next day. Overall, the room is big but the conditions of the room are poor, not very clean, and towels are dirty. The hotel is within walking distance to metro, shopping area, and there is a convenience store next to it.

Hotel is near shops for you to buy grocery for cooking like the market dry market nearby. Hotel is located near an Uzbek area where you can get Uzbek and halal food easily if you need them. Hotel staff speak english well.

Value for money and Good location

The hotel front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good location too, about 10minutes to Dongdaemun History and Culture Park station. , entrance near Lotte Fini shopping mall. Right of the hotel, and walk straight, leads to this station. Left of the hotel leads to few markets (시장), like wholesale centers selling cloths, bread making equipments, fragrance, etc. From the station, I used exit 12 which has escalators.

hotel near to subway

Pros: Location is good, there are 7-11 and G25 stores nearby; hotel near to subway. Cons: Pillow too soft and I suffered stiff neck which almost ruined my holidays. If you are not fussy, this hotel is a good choice at reasonable rate.

Good location, bad toilet

We booked a family room (2 single size beds and 1 size queen bed). The hotel is just a short walk from Dongdaemun, very conveniently location. The room condition is a typical 2-3 star hotel but the toilet condition is really below expectation.

Hotel not too far from the happening

Our family of 4 ( 2A and 2 kids) stayed for 4 nites in winter and the hotel provide us the right fit of 1 double and 2 singles. It also provide microwave oven and utensil. There is a convienence store just beside the hotel and a few street side stalls across the road for hot food. Do try the hot toasty sandwich for breakfast! The hotel is located between 2 train stations and can be access via underground tunnel that will keep the cold out. Think the entrance to this underground tunnel is nearer to the other hotel Co op residence but we don`t mind the short 1-2 mins walk. 2-3 shopping malls near the train station and the market a short walk but can seem long in cold winter time. Best of all the airport bus stop right in front to this hotel, plus point for us after a tiring flight and the journey take about one and 1/2 hrs. The hotel is about 2 train stops away from the happening in Myeongdong, not far but need to take train. The toilet is small with no place to put our toileteries ( tooth brush and tooth paste not given), lack hanger for clothes and the hot shower can be very unstable sometimes. All instructions to use oven, heater and the safe are in korean words. The room was stuffy at nite due to the heater for the floor and we had to open up the windows but letting the noise in instead. Overall it is ok for our family but we will consider staying in hotels closer to Myeongdong for our next trip.

A little further from the shopping malls.

Overall good, helpful staffs. Will be better if they can allow to check in earlier if happen to arrive earlier due to the air plane schedule. Very strict check in time 2PM, very inconvenient.

Close to subway and Dongdaemun

It is within walking distance to the Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station which is on the line 2,4 and 5. The Shopping malls in Dongdaemun are just slightly further up from the subway station, with lots of eateries around. There are 3 Fried Chicken restaurants opposite the Lotte Fitin mall. Tried to get the front desk staff to order fried chicken on our behalf on our first day but they said it is not possible and gave us the hotline no. to call. tried calling but they could only understand korean. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay. will definitely return if i were to visit korea again.

Just share my experience - overall okay lah!

Not too bad if to stay for short period up to a week. I stayed in the family suite room - room is clean and spacious. Do not really like the water-heater (for shower)and those towels (i guessed they've been washed as smelled clean but all looked old (greyish in colour), need to be replaced. Aircon can't be adjust as i tried to adjust (to higher degree)using remote control, it always return to 18°c(probably due to it's in Korea wordings). Convenient will be Airport bus-stop outside hotel and having snacks food and small e-marts nearby(5 mins fm) the hotel area. Different pple hv different experience. Rgds, amiefsc

Close to Dongdaemun

The hotel is within short walking distance to Dongdaemun station, hence we went shopping every night after 12am when the subway stop operating. There is a lot of food stall and convenience store around, one located beside the hotel that sells a lot of products such basic necessities, food and drinks. It is also about 15min walk away from Gwangjang Market, where we often had our breakfast.

I stayed in their family suite. The beds are comfy & the toilet is clean. There's a small fridge, pot & utensils with cooking stove where you can cook simple stuff. There is a 24 hours convenient store at the ground floor with friendly staff. The subway is about 8 minutes walk & the airport bus stop is just in front of Western Coop.

Hotel with Superb Location

We were stopping by Seoul for 2 nights enroute to San Francisco. Useful to have airport shuttle bus stop just in front of hotel especially with 3 large suitcases and 2 other cabin bags. Walking distance to metro and Dongdaemun shopping area. Unlimited number of devices for wifi access was great for family of 4.

- choose this hotel because it's close to 24hrs shopping Dongdaemon; - smoke smell even we choose a non-smoking room; - good for shopping all day long in Dongdaemon as just very few hotels to choose at there.
