The location was great close to everything. Fernando was nice and easy to communicate with. We felt safe the room is your typical small studio space. The staff was welcoming and always on site. Vending machines downstairs and restaurants near. No issues with getting our deposit back. Would definitely stay here again.

The location could not have been better, and our room was clean and very well appointed. The area around the building itself was a little sketchy, but we didn’t ever encounter any issues. We would gladly book this place again!

Check in/out headache

While the overall experience was just fine, I did have some issues with the check in/out process. There was just one lady running the reception, while she was awesome I felt bad it was just her. It was very busy and I had to stand around for 45 minutes just to get the keys. Checkout was no different. A lot of people checking out at once and there was a massive line down a very small hallway. Be prepared to give yourself about an hour to deal with check in and another hour to deal with check out.

Terrible stay, DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS NO CHOICE

Terrible stay. Booked a room with a private bathroom and got a small room without one. No one to talk to after 6pm - and they ask you for a cash deposit like it's 1990. No wifi either. Seems like all the information is misleading. Sheets were not clean either but there's basically no service after 6pm and no one to talk to.

Great location, not that comfortable

The location of this property is truly impressive, and the money you pay for it is quite reasonable. If this is what you are looking for, this is a great deal. But you should not consider this option if you are looking for a comfortable space, 24/7 front desk, and other things you might expect from a hotel. In general, I had the impression this used to be an apartment building currently in the process of becoming a hotel or aparthotel, because around the hallways you could see guests like us (two families with 6 people in total sharing a "large" room with a kitchenette), and elderly residents. In any case, I´d recommend the place if you are looking for a great location, and you are not too keen about comfort/cleanliness.

I liked that we were close to Time Square and location was walkable from apartment. I didn't like the $100 cash deposit. Nickle and dime you for everything. The pictures were a bit deceiving. All it is, is 3 beds, dirty bathroom and a kitchenette. Had to buy spray to clean the bathroom. They sent the final email instructions the day before leaving. All instructions should've been sent at check in. Just a money grab, to keep the deposit. On vacay, Didnt even look at an email until I returned home because I had an early morning flight out. Not worth the price.

As a US Veteran I have been to many places and I have never been anywhere as uncomfortable and misleading as this. They show you a comfortable apartment in the photos and when you come across reality you can't even walk because of how uncomfortable it is. The smallest bathroom could not be. The fridge had a bad smell, I informed them and when I got back they told me that they sent a staff to check and that there was no bad smell. For what I paid for the apartment I think it was a scam. In my life I return to that place. 😡😡😡

The website says “parking available” and under “more details” it lists “valet parking at $44.77”. Upon arrival, I was told that parking was about a block away and the cost was $88/nt!! The bed had either a bedbugs or ticks. My husband has several bites on his arms and head. I found a dead bug that looks like a tick (I took a picture of it). I wasn’t informed that they required the deposit in the form of cash. And, I wasn’t informed until the night before checkout that I would be responsible for cleaning the room. I left it more clean that it was when I arrived (we found hair in the shower, dirty silverware in the drawer and dirt, etc. on the floor). On a positive note, the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful.

After hours cash deposit info

Need to know that the cash deposit is only refunded directly to you if you check out during normal hours of operation (9am-5pm). We had to check out early, so HAD to have pay pal or something called zello. Staff insisted every us bank customer has zello contract but we are from a university town in Midwest that did not have a contract with them. We don't do PayPal either. Not necessarily ours or the apartments fault but would have liked to know. If they inspect the apartment as ok, we will get the money back but had to send to our friends PayPal account. Overall though, for a family of 5 this was a great place to be in Manhattan and nice to have kitchen etc. BTW, our view on tenth floor was directly of the empire state building.

Run down, poor communication

The place was clean, but pretty rundown. I had to fix the toilet several times because it was so old that they were rusty parts inside the tank that didn’t work well. We couldn’t keep the towel bar on the wall it kept falling off because it hadn’t been fastened properly, same with the toilet paper holder. The bunkbeds were uncomfortable, but OK. However the single twin bed was so uncomfortable that it really was not even something that could be slept on. The communication is especially poor. Surrounding late check out, I was told that it did not need to be pre-arranged, however at 10 AM our door was opened with us inside. I then needed to give cash to the person who came to the door. And then there was a further misunderstanding about timing, causing them to keep my “breakage”cash deposit I had left, despite there being no breakage. Customer service was severely lacking. This is definitely a decent value as compared to nicer places, but I think you get what you pay for here.
