We really enjoyed staying at the Somerset. The staff was very friendly, the location is great being right next to Insadong and all the nearby neighborhoods and restaurants. The room was very big considering the price which even had it's own washer/dryer. Our only complaint is that there didn't seem to be very many electrical outlet locations for charging our devices but other than that, this was a great hotel. We would definitely consider staying here again when in Gangbuk (North of the river).

The Somerset palace is great location. Tons of sights and museums are all a 5-10 minute walk. The rooftop pool is delightful with vistas of the city and mountains. The staff is very helpful and the studios have kitchens and in room washer dryers

The proximity to major landmarks was amazing and space and amenities in the hotel were great. The overall cleanliness could be improved, like the childrenโ€™s play area downstairs was very dusty and in our hotel room, some areas were dusty and worn. But overall, it was a great space for our family with 2 young children to spread out and walk around everywhere.
