Good hotel but there are areas of improvement

Rooms are very clean but overall the lighting ambiance of the hotel can be better as it is rather too dim at night when I walk into the lobby, it makes the hotel atmosphere kind of old & dated. I do respect the heritage of the building and all the wood furniture and decor but the choice of lighting can be better to enhance on the e.g. color of the wood etc. I was disappointed with the breakfast selection which was very limited choices, and replenishing was slow so the trays are empty. I spotted 2 cockroaches behind the bread and the coffee machine which was shocking! Cleanness & hygiene is key and the "poor lighting" is a factor too when staff cannot even see probably if the table tops are clean are not. I rather the restaurant be brightly lit to avoid eating with insects crawling around. Please take note to improve this.

This hotel is beautiful but the rooms are INFESTED WITH MOSQUITOES. In the room and under the blankets got a lot. My son's face had at least 3 bites while his body and legs had many. They did however managed to help us change rooms and helped with the luggages but the other room also has mosquitoes but lesser. The reception and room service people are really nice and friendly.

Property design is similar to those old school private english gentlemen clubs. Food at the hotel is surprisingly good. Do take note, the entire hotel does not have smoking rooms. The Bathtub is quite interestingly designed. Not the most practical though.

It has this wooden theme in the hotel, giving a very nice feel. Room is nicely decorated and comes with washing machine as well.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The room is equipped with modern equipments such as touch screen switches, bidet toilet seats, and yet its design give the retro vibe. The bed is comfortable. Bathtub is not the usual full length tub. Overall, very satisfied with the room. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. This hotel is located just 100m away from water taxi stop, it is very convenient to get to Pratunam. However, water taxi is for everyone, as some may find it dirty and too crowded at times. But we enjoyed our water taxi ride, it was a very interesting experience. Bus is also an option, just make sure you know how to use them. Other than that, you’ll have to take a grab or taxi to get anywhere. There are quite a number of convenient stores walking distance from the hotel. There is a decent eatery 200m away from the hotel, called Food Sky. Try their salted egg squid! We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who is bored of staying too close to Pratunam area and likes the retro-modern vibe.

Enjoyable stay, value for money

Amazing stay. Hotel is very new and clean with a luxurious vibe, down to the quality of the fittings of the rooms and lobby. Location is further out from center of town so had to book a Grab most of the time, but traffic can be a pain. Would be great if shuttle service was provided to and fro the BTS

Pretty new hotel, quiet location. Nice rich English decor. But not much around the hotel except for some street stalls just outside on the Main Street.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the hotel. Pros: 1) location near to the boat station - local mode of transport 2) friendly staff who would help us with flagging the taxi and communicating to the driver 3) nice room with comfortable sheet and pillow Cons: 1) gym is way too small with only one treadmill 2) female changing room doesn't have a jacuzzi while the male one has one....i dont understand 3) no BTS/mrt nearby

Quiet End of Thonglor

Located at quiet end of Thonglor, actually more Petchaburi Road. Quite far from all the action, food and fun. Which may be good if you want some peace. Also if you are adventurous, the local Pier is literally at the door step of the hotel. Can take river taxi downtown and avoid all the traffic!

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel with beautiful deco. Comfy bed and clean sheets and room. Bathroom will be better off with a shower than a small tub. Nice pool but may need frequent cleaning.
