Generously sized and immaculately maintained property in a good location. The service staff members - from front desk, to buggy service, to security, to cleaning team - were excellent all around. Of particular mention are front desk staff Atik and Citta who provided top notch service.

The villa is spacious and well maintained. The staff are helpful and polite at all times. Breakfast was great. We didn’t like the Indonesian food catered for room service. We tried it twice and was disappointed. Better to take a ride from the villa Drivers and go explore the restaurants nearby. Overall good value for our money if you don’t mind staying away from the beach.

Fantastic service

Am a regular to Bali and have stayed in various locations, numerous hotels/villas. In Seminyak, Kunja is the place to stay if you're looking for a private pool villa experience. Arguably in one of the best locations even within Seminyak, being walking distance to most of the top rated establishments in the area. Affordable rates (even during my Christmas to New Year's stay) and breakfasts prepared on the spot by your personal butler within your personal villa (dining area is outdoors so there is no interruption of privacy while you are getting ready for breakfast in your enclosed bedroom). Private pool of very decent size and depth, not like a large outdoor bathtub you often get in other villas. Let's face it - every hotel makes mistakes, hopefully small ones. It's how they respond. Kunja management was top notch in the way they handled even very small inconveniences I would have been comfortable overlooking anyway. If you're not a fan of the outdoor bathroom concept, then you may want to take note but we did not find this uncomfortable but instead added to the Bali pool villa experience. Mosquitos are a reality in Bali. Was minimal for us at Kunja and the gorgeous bed was beautifully protected from them. Stayed in Villa #6.

Splendid!!

This villa is absolutely fantastic! Mozzy wasn't a big issue as they do fogging and every evening perform mozzy control exercise. Very good. Service excellent. Staff very polite. Only dissatisfaction: poolside seat is dirty and not clean.

Seminyak visit

Visiting Bali for the first time, we had 4 nights to spend. 2 nights in Seminyak and 2 nights in Ubud. At Seminyak we stayed at the Kunja which was a most enjoyable stay and great decision. The service was superb and villa was in tip top condition. We hope to return one day again to spend more time in Bali and explore more of the outdoors!!

A huge huge villa to ourselves - lovely pool, lovely landscaping, lovely staff who cooked delicious breakfast for us every morning in the kitchen. Everything little detail is impeccable. My children (ages 5 & 7) call Kunja their "Bali Home".

Fantastic!

The Kunja manager met us on arrival and we had a smooth check in. We actually arrived at 12.30pm, 5 adults and 3 children and they did their best to get our villa ready asap rather than telling us it wasn't available until 2pm. The villa was great. Clean, spacious and a great pool. The staff even bought a little kids slide in for us to entertain the little ones. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but we opted for the in house East meets West BBQ which was superb. A decent selection and again staff very impressive. The hotel is some way down a long road but easily accessible if somewhat away from the main shopping/erestaurant area of Petitenget. An easy 10 min walk for adults, but with young kids a cab maybe a better idea as the road was poor and not ideal for strollers.

Spacious villa near seminyak nightlife

Service was great, and the villa was quite spacious. Can't really complain about anything... The beddings and furnishings were not really 5 star standards, but this is a boutique hotel, and the service was excellent.

This place was absolutely amazing and well worth it. When I visit Bali again, I am definitely staying here. The Kunja is so clean, the staff are amazingly nice and they are right next to everything you need! This place is so perfect, waking up to homemade breakfast and a morning swim was the best part. We also loved our driver who took us to see some awesome parts of Bali. If you are debating about visiting here, trust me this is the place for you!

We stayed at the property in early September. Picked the property based on its location and facilities available. As you can imagine its not a short trip getting to Bali. But it didn't fall short of expectations. I called ahead of it time explaining that we were celebrating our anniversary and if there was anything the team can do. The team kindly provided a flower petal bath and a decorative bed display really sweet of them. We were greated with a much needed cold towel and refreshment. The Team there asked on every occasion when they can attend to do the villa clean to fit around our scheduled for the day. It's was a full clean from the pool surface and floor, kitchen, bathrooms bed turn over as one would expect. They attended daily to spray for the mosquito at 6:30pm like clock work. When having breakfast at the villa you have the option of having it set up in the pool or the table. We opted for the table as we didn't fancy a cold dip in the morning. The pool is not heated so best to wait for the sun to heat it up if you fancy a dip. Now I would mention that since it's an open door villa you do get Geko's coming and going as they please. These little creatures can keep you up at night but nothing a pair of ear plugs can't resolve. We arranged for spa treatment while we were there. You can have this arranged at the villa or the spa room we opted for the villa for more privacy. Just as a note they only have female staff members for the spa.
