Like all the other comments, really need to have a little rack for toiletries in shower area. The hotel is opp some clubs so does get quite noisy ..... The room was clean and looked well kept.

Loved it.

Very well located, close to the ferry terminal and Queen Street. Reception was friendly and helpful. View from my room was awesome. Wifi worked well but you had to get a new password everyday. The gym is a little sparse and I saw no towels being given to guests. But if all you wanna do is swim or treadmill its good enough. Other than that minor quip would happily stay here again.

Not a pleasant experience

Stayed at hotel for two nights. Hotel is located close to food places but there is also a gentlemen's club just across the street. Security is tight, even then there is a phallic graffiti in one of the lifts. A close encounter with an aggressive and foul mouthed cyclist, and a young man inexplicably choosing to kick around a rugby ball on the shared street round the corner from the hotel added to the unease. Hotel room had a good view but cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Pillow cases had old lipstick stains and bed sheets had dirt marks on them. Worst of all, housekeeping clearly only changed the bin liner and had never washed the inside of the bin. Onsite car parking was convenient for $30 and so were the apartment's kitchen and laundry appliances, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Gather reviews before booking for this hotel.

Reception staff generally were ok. (Some staff generally were nicer than some.) Overall not to my expectation as I compared to other hotels I have stayed in at Auckland. The room service was not on time most days. The room service was more of changing toilet rolls and providing bath items. This even as a guest i can do, if i know where to get those items. Requests must be made to them directly like to get them to vacuum, clean sink or wash toilet or else they do not do automatically! There were some form of flea or insect which kept biting us. A shelf in the bathroom kept falling off and my family got hurt. When the hotel was asked to look into it, there were no apologies or quick remedy taken except that to place it aside! No sympathy shown. Too many Indian nationals working as cleaners. My personal items and some other small items disappeared! Not sure how or why. I do not think I will book that hotel anymore.

No bathrobe, slippers, and air-conditions. Only one heater provided. Only one television for living area(very out-dated television). No television for the room. I stayed in many hotels and service apartments in Auckland, Auckland Harbour Oak definitely over-priced and overrated.

It was very basic and not in great condition. I was told I can’t reserve parking in advance and that was wrong. Decor is depressing and there was a portable air conditioner in the middle of living area. Bathroom was leaking.

We booked only because it had parking…when we get there, no parking was available. Went up to shower, no bodywash left in the shower and shower was dirty. Booked a 3 bed room and only got 2 beds. Hopeless. Manager didn’t care and wasn’t interested said to email Wotif for refund

Location is ideal, we could walk to most places. Could do with an upgrade in rooms however bed was very comfortable, bathroom clean. Cooking smells were a bit off putting. On the whole enjoyed our stay.
