Disappointing Christmas stay

Not a nice property for a family holiday. Location was ok, but other than that, property felt like a budget hotel. apartment was dated, corridor on our floor was smelly and our apartment itself was very clean and was dusty. The kitchen was not well equipped, there was a smart tv but not connected to TV.. wouldn’t be staying here again for sure.

Still a good stay

Location. Size of apartment and kitchen were fantastic. Almost next to Eagle Road pier. It would be pleasant if there is some housekeeping for garbage removal & towels and toiletries replacement. We had to bring down 4 persons towels to the lobby for 5 days. We asked but there is no service for our stay.

Disappointing (Not a 4star hotel standard)

Not recommend and stay there again very disappointing, an out-dated hotel and hotel room furniture and toilet worn-out does not seems like a 4-Star rated hotel. Rooms is without air-condition is only remote fan. Our room is under promo rate – unserviced room, didn’t expect much for cleanliness of the room. It’s the first time hotel charge us for additional cleaning fee as they Deposit AUD$150, in the end they deduct AUD$105 for additional cleaning fee (Hotel expect us to clean up the room before we check out and also to shift back the additional roll-out bed to the living room, wash dishes and to throw our rubbish out of the hotel room). It’s simply not the standard of an 4-Star hotel. Upon check-in staffs did not alert us on cleaning the room before check out and wi-fi services.

Very good hotel

Hotel was great, quite modern and new, great service, very good location. The only problem was that the wi-fi was not free, I had to purchase it each day, and the last day I had to pay it but only used half day.

Pleasant short stay

We checked-in for a short stay in Brisbane. A pleasant surprise when we were given a high floor apartment with a beautiful view of the river and bridge. Thanks to the lady receptionist (sorry for not checking the name) for giving us that apartment citing since we came a long way from home, we should deserve a beautiful view. The apartment is very clean with all the necessary needs. There is a washing machine and dryer available in the apartment too. We were very happy with the short stay and hope to come back again. Definitely, Oaks @ Felix will be our choice of stay again!

Good overall but service can be improved with the following: 1) No hard pillows when requested 2) room cleaning not completed with missing operations such as unmade bed etc 3) wrong direction to gas stations 4) difficult to move around with tight corners at car park 5) very tight working area with desk in Master bedroom 6) telephone at funny location not easily accessible

Unprofessional staff

Very poorly communicating staff. Very poor credit card practices. The staff wanted to see all my credit card details in a physical card. I don’t think this procedure is secure enough nowadays. And when I’ve told I’m not happy to show all my card details why the last four digit is t enough I’ve received a very poor and unprofessional answer.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite for three nights two days on the 8th floor. Rooms are a bit worn. Lotta stains on carpets and curtains. Room smelt musty. Good view. Comfy beds. All cutlery and crockery supplied. Balcony. Fans in the bedrooms is what we really liked. Don’t need aircon running much with the fans. Great staff. Bottle shop and convenience store right outside hotel entrance. Underground parking. A bit expensive though. But I guess it is inner city. Overall we liked it. Have stayed there numerous times. But first time in two bedroom apartment. Will stay again.

My second stay at Oaks Felix, BIG REGRET!!! What a disgraceful, dirty, rude & unpleasant stay. The staff are APPALLING!!! They have zero communication skills & zero empathy. After advising that my room doesn’t have air conditioning or tv, they tell me I can move myself to a lesser floor with next to no hot water & LOUD air con units running 24/7 outside the bedroom window. Did I mention how rude & unqualified the staff were? I will never stay here again & I highly encourage you to rethink staying here, it is below a 2 star hotel & the staff are at least half the issue here. CHEAP & NASTY are the only two words that come to mind when I think of this hotel. Food still stuck on cutlery. Smelly fridges. No hot water, or Luke warm at best even after running on high for 10 solid minutes. Loud, hot balcony with ugly view. Horrible staff. Half appliances don’t work & aren’t checked, doesn’t seem safe. Carpet smell, old, ugly & faded/stained. Stained couches in the rooms. Thin bedding. Hard mattresses. Wide gaps under entry doors. Terrible parking. No parking for check-in. Incompetent staff. If there’s an issue, you’re on your own. YUCK YUCK YUCK. Stay somewhere else, you’ll be glad you did 🙏

I booked for Felix and must have booked a second later than someone on another platform. It was an innocent mistake where Jacky at the front desk offered me the same room at Charlotte where nothing was required on my part except turn up there. I turned up to Charlotte where Hailey and Arman made what could have made me agitated into a very comfortable transition to my room. I really enjoyed my experience at Oaks even if it was at Charlotte instead of Felix. I can see the culture of the staff is fantastic. The apartment was very good especially the air con, laundry, bathroom and comfort of the bed. The kitchen was also very good with a lot of utensils. I had a swim in the pool and it was very good. I was saying I wish the rooms had some biscuits for my coffee what I got in the end was even better with a farewell tim tam biscuit from Niamh upon my checkout departure. This just made my trip feel memorable. Thank you for the four staff at Felix and Charlotte a memorable one and I recommend Oaks Apartments.

Réception moyenne et aucun intérêt d'avoir mis 2 lits 1 place dans la suite parentale et 1 king size dans la petite chambre qui était destiné aux enfants nous les parents avons donc dormi séparément. Pas de logique. Problème avec le sèche linge il a fallu râler 3 fois pour trouver une solution que j'ai proposé. Hôtel très bien placé.
