Good hotel located in a peaceful neighborhood

For some reason, the impression I got (off) the internet when selecting hotels in Madrid and the actual hotel differs but not really in bad way. Just different from what I thought it would be. Nonetheless, a pretty decent accommodation situated in a very peaceful neighborhood in Madrid. Well, almost. Our room was next to the school but thankfully the only noise really comes around 0815hrs to 0830hrs when the kids gather for school. But even so, they don't exactly disturb the peace. Hotel is situated near several eateries, as well as, 5mins walk from the nearest Madrid hop on/off bus stop, 2 very beautiful, albeit small, attractions (Temple Debod - stunning during sunset, and Museo Cerralbo). It is also barely 5mins walk from the nearest metro station (Plaza de España) and one of the central shopping/food areas of Madrid, Gran Via. Without traffic, it is about 20mins taxi drive from the Madrid Puerta de Atocha train station - where we alighted from Barcelona via Renfe. We had 3 beds squeezed in the room hence it was smaller that it seems but otherwise, comfortable. Decent "cooking" area though toilets a little bit small and dark. Good service (especially during our check-in/out) and welcoming reception/concierge.Overall, good location and quiet place to stay!

Location is good near enough to metro and shopping areas but quiet. Shower screen was a bit old so toilet floor got wet after showering.

Good location

Clean, well maintained and comfortable rooms. Only reason i didn't give a 5 for maintenance was the the shower head holder was loose and could not be adjusted according to my height. But other than that, everything else was good. Value for money and fuss free. Service staffs were friendly and helpful considering the standards i experienced in the other 2 Spanish hotels. Breakfast buffet spread wasn't fantastic but not too shabbby too. Good enough for a meal before heading out for the day.

Favorite Madrid hotel

Great reliable hotel everytime I visit Madrid. The room is so large for European standards. Love there is a small kitchen. Comfortable firm bed. Great location near Plaza de Espana, 5 min walk to Metro station. Staff always friendly.

The front desk staff were friendly and extremely helpful, accommodating our early arrival and scheduling a large taxi to transport five people and lots of luggage to the airport. Breakfast was great and included pastries, proteins, and fresh fruit. The location worked out well for us, as it was walkable to many tourist sites as well as nearby local restaurants. Rooms were simple but clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is super clean and well maintained. The location is also very central with multiple areas of interest within walking distance and a nearby metro station. The staff were the highlight of our stay though; they've been so so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they just made our stay at the property perfect! Definitely recommended!
