Wonderful property. Very happy with our stay. Very specious rooms with kitchen. Nice garden view. Beautiful restaurant. Perfect location very close to shopping malls and main metro station La Defence. Walkable distance to Paris centre. We will definitely go back again. Very impressed. Thank you.

Wonderful in every way and without a doubt the best value. Yes, it is in a retirement home, which is a great thing. The best place to stay when visiting Paris. Close to La Defense and then great restaurants and shopping.

In general was good, kind of far from points of interest, but was fine!... its a residence for elder people, it is not an hotel itself but seems works as both. Quite and safe place.

There is no daily cleaning, ants in the bathroom, the room smelled intensely like potpourri, at least the area nearby was nice and the workers upfront were kind. Wifi was not good and wouldnt connect most of the stay. Found this on orbitz but on maps it says its a retirement home, wouldnt stay here again

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was more than accommodating to us. The area is beautiful and the local bistros were delightful. We were allowed to check in after midnight as our flight was delayed. All we had to do was call and ask. Most of the front desk staff spoke English and the one who didn’t worked with us on our translator app until we both understood each other.

The apartment is bright, spacious, and clean. All staff at the 24hours reception desk are friendly and extremely helpful. We were able to leave our luggage for free when we checked in early and again when we checked out early (at 10 am so we could go into Paris for the rest of the day). The apartment is within walking distance to trains going into Paris or Versailles!!!

Clean, comfortable, and close to transportation

We were looking for an affordable multi-night stay just outside of Paris and found Villa Medicis Puteaux. We were delighted that it was an efficiency apartment inside a quiet retirement home. It offered the typical comfort of a European hotel - full-size (not queen) bed, clean bathroom with shower - plus a kitchenette, dining area, and small sofa. A Franprix grocery store is directly across the street and offers everything to stock the kitchenette. For transportation, the bus stop across the street was 10 minutes to La Defense transit center for quick and easy connection to all the top sights in Paris. The staff was friendly and helpful, too.

The room is so bad !! The room is a disaster once you get to the reception it looks nice downstairs because it is a Senior Residence where they rent apartments there, the apartments are very bad. It is not so clean and has very low comfort, the beds are very small and very uncomfortable and the aplaiser, most of them do not work.

The area was very safe and quiet. We walked from La Defence train station pretty late in the night. Front desk is very nice and helpful although some people don't know english very well. Consider the cost/time needed to travel to Paris city when comparing hotels. It requires 4.20 Euro per person to reach paris city or walk 25 mins and 2.10 euros. Bath needs shower curtain, kids made the whole bathroom floor wet. Toilet seat is on higher side, not comfortable, I had to tiptoe and I'm 5'8". Overall, pretty happy with the stay.
