The picture post on the app looks new. But when i saw it real was the opposite. The bed was okay but the comforter look dated. Theres stain on the carpet. Bathroom looks like needed a good clean up. The lift are old.

I am a regular guest in Somerset Millennium Makati since 2019 and find this hotel service from Bell/Concierge team to Banquet manager (George) and restaurant crew to be consistently attentive to all guests needs and accommodated our unique requests with their service hearts. In my recent trip, I like to specially commend on Gina Barba, Housekeeping manager and her team of staff for their persistence in helping me recover my ear rings which I left in the hotel room after I checked out. Section by section they searched for every possible & unlikely corner of the whole room for more than 3 hours to check for my ear rings and reported their findings to me via viber. I am very grateful for their "never-give-up attitude" to enable me to recover my ear rings. Thank you Gina and team. :-)

Stay at Somerset millennium makati

A good location in a quiet street close to makati green belt. Quite convenient going to the airport via skyway, only takes about 30 mins even during peak hour. Staff are generally polite and friendly, especially Moulin. The sniff dog is friendly too. The Japanese restaurant downstairs is great.

Convenient location, huge and comfortable rooms

Huge and comfortable rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very close to Greenbelt shopping centers, all the restaurants and well connected to Landmarks and SM mall. Very quiet surrounding and away from the main road. Good selections of breakfast and taste. Will come back again.

disappointed in thw standard

very disappointed with the experience in this hotel . have stayed in many other branches world wide . this is worst . no smoking room . had to complain to get room cleaning. asked for wake up call in morning didt get and end up rushing. key card couldn't work so many times . staff were polite but the stay was horrible for this price . and for their hotel brand it's is a let down

Good location, nothing much otherwise.

Checked in late at night, and first issue encountered was that hot water took extremely long to emerge from the shower. It took about 30 minutes for hot water to be delivered from the central system to my room. Shower area also did not have anywhere to place amenities. Breakfast location was changed (temporarily?) to 10th floor resident's lounge, which was a slight improvement from before. However, usage of the fitness center would require you to cut thru the breakfast area, and the door to the gym was left open. Using the gym would have been very awkward, in clear sight of all the guests having their meal directly outside. Swimming pool was temporarily closed for filter maintenance, and a strange offer to use the nearby Ascott Makati's pool was presented. However, was told that no transportation could be arranged for the 500m+ distance between both hotels. Was bluntly told to "take a taxi there" myself. I am unable to fathom the logic behind such an offer- did they expect anyone to want to walk "quite a distance" to and back, carrying limited personal items and dressed in light attire just to have a swim? WiFi which did not have any login process was also extremely slow. Speedtest results showed 10kbps speeds. Took easily half a minute to load a textual webpage. Personally unacceptable for a residence with a majority of white-collar guests staying. Location near to Greenbelt, and the large rooms (stayed in a Deluxe Suite) were the only saving graces.

To start with, the staffs are well mannered and friendly BUT the room is a disappointment. No toiletries and towels smells weird. Called the operator, reception, house keeping and no one answer at 7am.

Not a true 4 **** hotel

Central location, convenient although traffic congestion. Very polite and helpful staff. HOWEVER, a real let down was the restaurant which looks like nothing more than a canteen, with a very limited space where people share tables. The already few tables available are slow to be cleared for the coming guests. Breakfast quality standard, but variety so limited! Laundry was never returned on time within the same day. Had to call every time to have it delivered. The worst is, as I breathed through my shirts which had come back from the laundry, I noticed the slight but distinctive spiciness of tobacco smell (as a non smoker, this can of thing register very quickly...). A detail though, slippers are not systematically provided, on request only. The hotel car - which I later declined to use for obvious reasons - would be charged 6 times the cost of a standard taxi! Local phone (land line and mobile phone) charges are ridiculous, and the fact that the wi-fi is charged reflects a 20th century mind set rather than a 21st century! I learned that the wi-fi was free of charge when guests book directly with the residence. This serviced residence would hardly qualify as a 3 star. It only strengthens my views of Manila which really lags behind Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam in terms of choice of new or recently built hotels, and real value for money. MY CONCLUSION, I will not stay again in this serviced residence, and will seek a new place to stay for my future trip to Manila.
