Great cotttage

It's neat and clean, smells good and it's kids friendly, what we like the most was the no pet allowed, coz there's no insects or dirt from pets. The surroundings are awesome.

Cottage Stay

Fantastic little area with very a comfortable environment. The full kitchen with dishes was awesome. If/when we come back we will absolutely be booking again. Worth the price for the spot you get!

Super cute, cozy cottage, located close to all the things we wanted to do! It was just me and my mom, but we both agreed that it would be ideal for a small family. Small kitchen to cook if that was desired.

Would stay again.

The experience from start to finish was great. Hassle free check-in, room ready when we arrived, and a quiet “community”. The cottage needs a few upgrades - like the faucets the spray you down while brushing your teeth or washing dishes and the broken window pane on the door. Would stay again though.

Avonlea Cottages are quiet, clean and well stocked. They have all the kitchen supplies you might need. The cottage was very clean and the A/C worked well. The pool was very well maintained and the owners/staff were very helpful. Right beside Shining Waters Park.

Our deck needed repairs, weak board. The cottage is old, but clean. Liked being at the end. Pool was nice, hot tub jets were almost non-existent, but still relaxing.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Avonlea Cottages. The cottages are in a wonderful location. Close to the many tourist attractions that Cavendish offers. Added bonus there is the Cavendish minimart across the road. The cottage exceeded my expectations and provided what I needed for my stay with improvising on occasion. The grounds were well kept and the cottages looked well cared for.

First time as a family so excited we gound this gem. The swimming pool and hotub where grreat. 2 amusement parks to keep everyone busy. Lots of beauty in the cottage yards with big fiields and well manicured flowers. I will be back. We where sad to leave.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Our cottage did have a bit of a slope to the floor causing the stove to be uneven so it was a balancing act to cook with. The toilet was a little wobbly as we think the bolt was loose. Other then that it was clean, beds were comfortable and all the essentials were there. Gardens were beautiful as well. Will definitely return.

The owners were very nice and polite. As far as the accommodation it was clean however I found that the bed was not very comfortable. I felt that it was an old mattress. I didn't stay my last night do to the bed not being comfortable. Overall the place was nice.

the air conditioner didn't do a great job of cooling the cottage, and none of the windows opened, so it was a little stuffy and hot the queen size beds are really double but we enjoyed our night there
