The property looks old and the cleanliness of the room is in question. Lots of dust esp around the kitchen area. Room service is average, do the basic and left the garage on the kitchen top. Good point is in room laundry we’re excellent. Website also did not state cost of onsite parking, it will be good to state upfront, while there are ample parking spaces which is a plus point. Another plus is that hotel is near town Center and botanic garden, and away from the crowd.

The hotel has only 1 staff at reception at night so you will not get prompt service if you require. The bed is not clean, there even stains and dirt on bedsheets. Even with housekeeping, the beds not made properly. With 5 of us, they keep forgetting to place 1 more towels for us throughout the stay

Tired and dated

Although the location of Seasons cannot be faulted, almost everything else about the hotel can be viewed in a negative light. The decor of our room was dirty and dingy, in serious need of brightening up, the carpets had deposits from years of passing shoes and all surfaces were dirty to the touch. The bed was old, sagging and uncomfortable and there was no bath available, despite being promoted in the publicity material. The kitchen was also of poor quality, as was all the crockery and cutlery provided - I say "all" but I am referring to one cooking pan, two plates/saucers/cups/forks /knives/spoons and no knives for food prep.

Great location near Melbourne CBD

I recently stayed at the SBG for 4 nights with family of 4 adults in a 2 bedroom apartment. The room was well kept, clean and tidy. Staff is really courteous, helpful, and prompt to help us with directions and local attractions. Being right opposite to Botanic gardens, the location is quite refreshing for a morning walk. Located 20 minutes walk away from Melbourne CBD/ Flinders St. station it is well suited for families looking for a comfortable stay.

Great location for Aussie Open, The Tan track and the city if you like walking (which we do). It was quiet and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a lttle tired but the bigger rooms make up for this. The only issue we really had was house keeping was less than ideal for example the toilet wasnt cleaned and we stayed for 8 days! We would definitely stay again, but take some cleaning products with us!

Spacious, clean and comfortable one-bedroom apartment with a great view of the Shrine gardens opposite. Quiet except for the trams passing by. Helpful and polite staff. Great location to walk to the city or the tram stop is almost outside. However, the kitchen layout is terrible and the plates and cups are difficult to reach in the cupboard. Also, the room, while comfortable is very grey, bland and depressing. Not even any artwork on the wall to brighten it up. Don't stay here if you need some colour around you.
