Hamilton Island was an amazing, friendly and chilled place, with a beautiful setting. Even in peak season, it never felt crowded, nor expensive. The apartments are see facing, overlooking catseye beach and Whitsundays - amazing view. There is a swimming pool, which looked lovely, but didn't need to use, as the sea water was a lovely comfortable temperature, and calm. But there are many swimming pools along catseye beach that are all accessible to the public. The apartment was well equipped, and included basics like coffee/tea and sugar. Apartment had free wifi, however, a bit slow - but did not bother us. The blue and green busses both stop outside the lobby area, so super convenient. There is also a free shuttle to and from the airport. I highly recommend, and will return to Hamilton Island for sure. PS. If you are a golfer, it is an absolute MUST to play golf of Hamilton Island Golf Course, - simply spectacular.

Great size and location

On a beautiful island, big rooms and great welcome pack with lots of information on the island. On the downside though, the WiFi is very poor and only available, if you’re lucky, in the lobby. There were also quite a few hairs in our appartment when we went into the room so it could do with a more thorough clean.

Relaxing and Great Stay

I have a Great 2 days stay. Very convenient to get around the island with free shuttle buses just at the lobby. Everything is good, especially the room is comfortable and clean.

Extremely Disappointed - Ugly and Dated Place

I was extremely disappointed in this place. The place is not at all cozy or beautiful. It is extremely old, ugly, dated, and merely functional. You don't feel comfortable or like you can relax or are in luxury. On top of that, they make you keep the air conditioning on extremely high due to their mold problems. There is also no restaurant or cafe on property. Nothing about it was relaxing or peaceful. For paying that much money, it was a definite let down. I will not be staying there again.

The view is amazing there is no doubt about that. The property is tired. Even though there has been bathroom upgrades since I was here last. Enjoyed our stay, pools are great, turquoise water is right there …. There needs to be more affordable and varied food outlets. More multicultural food, more choice and better quality - especially for the price!!
