The property was beautiful, very clean and a giant double room. They gave us plenty of towels. Parking was easy. A great place to stay

Quaint and rustic. Needs maintenance on outside areas steps and paving Lucky there was only 2 rooms booked as there is shared bathrooms in lodge. Food at Beckys was good quality and reasonable priced home made pies are delicious

Beautiful lodge, cozy and in a great location. Only a 25 mins drive to Crater Lake. However walls were extremely thin, could clearly hear conversations through the walls. Overall would still recommend.

The pictures on Expedia were very different from reality. I paid for king bed with little stove..got none of that plus was barely able to walk around queen bed . Manager at so called “resort “ were nice and put in for full refund. I paid for 2 nights only stayed 1.

Good location

The hotel is very rustic. Kind of steep stairs to go up. No bathroom’s in your room..down the hall didn’t really become an issue at all. Rooms were very clean and the towels were very good. I had a small room and what made it even a smaller was a chimney in the corner so I did not have very much space to put my items at all. Would like to see a little bit more lighting in the room or should I say brighter lighting, there was three lights, but none of them were really bright. You had a sink in your room, which was nice. Wi-Fi was hit or miss.. better the second night I stayed.. no TV. Hallway noise was very obvious, also people next-door to me. Hiking trails very close by which were nice. Also, a nice size creek running along the edge of the building. Across the street was Becky‘s Café, which had very good food… but not a big café. Parking lot road to get to the back of the building could use some gravel. It rained and there was a lot of mud puddles. Great location if you want to go to Crater Lake 30 to 35 minute drive. Overall, a good stay.

Little Gem

We loved this place. It's a fantastic location close to Crater Lake. Although our cabin was close to the road it wasn't too noisy and the facilities inside surprised us. The bathroom was fine with a decent shower and the room facilities quite adequate. We stayed in cabin 9 which had 2 beds - a small double and a single, fridge and microwave and air conditioning, which was very welcome, if a little noisy. The outside seating area was lovely and the ice cream shop across the road not to be missed! We stayed on a Monday so couldn't visit Beckies cafe sadly, as it is not open Mondays. There are many walking options from the site but it's only a short drive to Crater Lake and ideal to get an early start there.

What a hidden gem. Aside from being an incredibly convenient 25 minute drive from the top of Crater lake via the south entrance, there’s a veritable font of great activities nearby. From the Rogue River Gorge outlook, the Union Creek trail, and the complimentary guide map the resort provides, you won’t lack for beautiful sights to see or things to do. The rooms themselves (I stayed in the lodge) are simple but clean, warm and well-appointed. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Will be visiting again during the summer.

The location if very remote. Cell phone service does not work. WiFi is available but unworkable during normal evening hours. If you get up at 4:00 am and nobody else it using it, it might work somewhat. The cabins are very old, dilapidated and covered with moss. Our cabin had a tarp over part of the roof. If we were to go back to Crater Lake, we would rent a cabin at Diamond Lake insted.

Needed to upgrade to a larger and nicer cabin on arrival, because the basic is a giant bed that takes up the whole small room with a tiny microwave and coffee maker with no place to sit down and a very old small bathroom. The cabin with a kitchen was lovely. Warning-though it advertises wifi, we were only able to get online once in three days. I’d say no wifi because it was so frustrating. Aramark had just purchased the property and Park Service improvements will likely manage the inconsistencies we found.

The cabin smelled musty mixed with some cheap room fragrance. The room was kind of dirty, old, with toilet having ring stain. Yes this is a closest lodging to Crater Lake if inside the park is not available. But for the price, it was rather disappointing.

This is a rustic lodge located near Crater Lake National Park. The staff is very friendly and helpful, welcoming and friendly. This is not someplace to stay if you need cell phone and internet as they are spotty or not available at all. A really fun place to stay and enjoy peace and quiet away from distractions.
