This is a VRBO disguised as a hotel.

We went through Expedia to find a hotel for our family vacation. When we got there, the place was dead with only a few rooms rented. The beach was not usable and according to employees, not safe. After two days of returning with our room dirty, we complained to the front office staff who told us that the unit we were in was owned by a private person, and we need to contact them. That is where we realized that the units are owned by individuals that may or may not have a contract with management. The unit that we had was one that was not. The two beds were rocking back and forth and our two children ended pulling the mattress on the floor and sleeping on the floor. There was construction both on, and adjacent to the premises that started at 6 in the morning and went on until late afternoon. The premises had a tent up for a restaurant. They said that one of the construction was to build one. We had a 7 night reservation and ended up leaving after the second night. Because most of the hotels in the area are all inclusive, if you are in a property like Blue Beach, you can not have access to them. It completely ruined our vacation. We were able to salvage the last few day by reserving last minute and checking in to another hotel. Almost all of the hotels maintain their beach area. This hotel does not. Directly outside of the hotel is very unsafe. Stay away from this place. An absolute nightmare.
