Lake Side hotel - large and comfortable

Cabin type experience. You can park your car right up to the cabin door. Large space for the kids to run around. cabin is large and comfortable.

The resort spanned the entire lake and the lodges were built around it. The lake was beautiful and the environment was serene. Went there with two children who loved it too. They also kept asking to feed the ducks and seagulls on the lake! You also get to park right in front of your lodge which is very convenient.

Well What a surprise

This place is holiday homes on a lake setting with everything and anything you could need. Was a delight to stay at only sorry we only booked for one night. So nice to just pick up some wine at the many local supermarkets (five minutes away) and some cheese and nibbles and sit on our own balcony over looking the lake. Was right in the middle of our month in the UK and wish we could have stayed longer. There is even washing machines and dryer and the powder as well. Clean bright and lovely. Great for families.

We'll be back :)

Our first time at this place. In general the lodge was nice with everything you need. Wee comments: It had electric heating which didn't manage to cope with weather outside, so the lodge was as cosy/warm as it should be. Also the lack of thermostat meant that temperature couldn't be controlled. No proper heating in the bathrooms Kitchen seems to be renovated recently but for some some reason they decided to install old fashioned electric hob, instead of modern induction ones, two problems with tha, It takes ages to hear a water to boil, No control/indication that the hob is on and/or still hot. (Managed to burn myself, even though I was the one using it, so can be much more dangerous for other people/children) They are not energy efficient compared to induction ones (and the resort is playing the eco card)

We booked the Pines for 3 nights and we were both pleasantly surprised, it's a gem. The lodges are set around a tranquil lake and are easily accessible from the M6. The lodge was very clean and very well equipped, comfortable beds, quality bedding and towels and central heating. The staff were really friendly and informative. The bar area is relaxing and inviting, I cannot really comment on the quality of the food at the restaurant as the lodges are geared for self catering with extensive equipment, such as, a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, everything you need is provided...so we didn't eat in the restaurant but did notice the menu prices seemed expensive. Obviously been so close to major roads we expected some noise from traffic, but it was minimal and the lodges are double glazed. We really enjoyed our stay😊 I'd definitely recommend giving the Pines a visit.

Outstanding!

The cleanliness of the property was outstanding and so very comfortable . The handsoaps,dishwasher tabs,laundry sachets were all wonderful touches. Staff were extremely polite,friendly and very helpful. I will definitely recommend a stay here.

Amazing stay with my husband and one year old son Very accommodating with cot and highchair in lodgewould definitely stay again. Staff really friendly There was some damage to the lodge from previous people but other than that clean and tidy.

Lovely stay

Came early jan and was thick frost around. Didn’t fancy using the pool but I will definitely come again and hopefully use it. Staff were helpful and had two nice meals in the restaurant. They had a singer on on the Friday which I thought was good. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we will definitely come again.
