Cosy and peaceful
Lovely, peaceful place to stay. Cottages were comfortable and cosy. Knew we could ask for anything at the house and we would have been accommodated. Great place to stay and visit the surrounding areas.

It was well placed for touring. The cottage was cosy and well stocked for self-catering. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was of a good standard. The building was set back from the road, so traffic noise was minimal.

Lovely little cottage, well equipped .
Friendly hosts. Really appreciated the welcome pack with Milk , teabags, biscuits etc , thank you 😍
Parking space is a bit tricky to access via a narrow drive , but not enough to stop us wanting to go back .
Jack and Jill bathroom accessed from both bedrooms but one of the doors didn't lock properly so if travelling as friends need to know when the other is in the bathroom 😂
Overall really loved it here and would definitely go again

Mixed feelings
It was okay... the cottage itself was excellent and quiet with good fixtures and fittings. Leaving milk, 3x dishwasher tablets and good towels were all appreciated.
However, the tone of the stay was reduced by the presence of a dehumidifier in the main bedroom (with a request to leave it on whenever possible) a lack of dishwasher salt and rinse aid (why would I buy some for a four day stay?) and no obvious warning about a £20 charge for using the EV charger. Given my car is a 15-mile-range PHEV that was more than £1 a mile - I would not have bothered.
My final irritation was that although Hotels.com said the stay was all paid, it wasn't- leading to me returning to the property after I checked out to settle the account. Nigel said this was Expedia/Hotels.com fault, not his, but why wasn't I warned about this while I was there - it wasn't like I was hard to find.

A lovely stay in the assessible cottage everything you could wish for provided, free wi fi too x
The sort of stay everyone is looking for, great location, super rooms and a brilliant food, all orchestrated by people who want you to enjoy your stay with them - first rate.
Very charming character and even more charming host and hostess who could not have done more to make us feel at home. Nigel cooks a real superb dinner whilst Sharon acts as front of house and waitress with aplomb.
During our stay earlier this month we felt very safe with the steps they had undertaken to be Covid safe.
Amazing stay and the house is beautiful. The staff are lovely and they make you feel very welcome. Food is superb. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!
The personal service is second to none, 'Your wish is their command'. It is clear that comfort and cleanliness is a top priority. Nigel & Sharon, the friendly owners, run a tight, efficient ship and work effortlessly together. Nigel clearly loves cooking and this shows through with all the first class meals he puts in front of guests. The only negative was the practicality of using the hairdryer. All the little extra touches make a huge difference and after arriving a little stressed out, three days of cosseting sent me home feeling chilled and relaxed. Already planning my next visit.
5 star venue with 5 star restaurant, a perfect place to relax and enjoy Cornwall. Easy access to north and south coast resorts, ideal base to explore from and great place to return to for brilliant evening meals. A real treat with friendly and enthusiastic hosts - everything Cornish !!
