No frills accommodation in a quiet area.

Pros: clean and new apartment. All the fittings and furniture look very new which is not surprising given that the building is just a few years old. Large TV though without Foxtel. Right in front of tram stop. Decent sized Woolworths next door. Cons: Orange stays actually managed a few apartments across several blocks. Our apartment was actually across the road from their office. They also charge $30 for leaving luggage with them for 4 hours. Overall a decent stay if you are looking for a no frills place to stay in.

Cosy hotel with nice sea view

Near to tram and supermarket.Cosy and relaxing stay. 5 tram stops from Southern Cross Station. Have a nice Vietnamese and Thai restaurant nearby.

The 1st unit we were given was not suitable but Orange Stay found another unit for us very quickly. The 2nd unit was well laid out, had a bigger balcony and a comfortable couch. The washer/dryer and dishwasher appliances were tricky to operate and some instructions would've helped. The master bed mattress felt well used and there were some stains on the carpet.The ensuite bathroom had also had a lingering odour but we couldn't identify its source.

Weekend in the City.

Property was as described with great views over the river and marina opposite. The Free City Tram leaves from outside the building, Woolworths is a very short walk and there are a number of restaurants and take aways in walking distance.

The location is amazing. There’s a tram (in the free zone) right outside the apartment/hotel doors. This tram takes you just about all the way to Melbourne Central. It’s near Marvel stadium in case you need to go there (which was a win for me). There is a woolies nearby if you need to get groceries or some snacks for your stay. The room itself was great. Appliances worked, TV could be connected to netflix to watch your shows, nice little balcony to relax on, bathroom was clean and tidy. The only couple things I disliked was the rug was very stained and dirty in our room, it needs to be replaced at this point. And the living room / kitchen area was very dusty, made me wonder when it was last cleaned… We were only here for a short time (2 nights) but I can see how this would be a very useful apartment to stay at for longer periods.

Reception wasn’t really a reception. Had cleaning stuff everywhere and was just a table and a couch with laundry and service consumables everywhere. Otherwise the apartments were great except when two out of three lifts didn’t work.
