We had a great stay at Soleado for 4 nights. Check in was easy. The grounds were so clean and well-maintained. It had old beach charm, but updated and clean. Our room was great - a 1bdrm upstairs with a cute kitchenette and table, a nice large sofa bed and 2 chairs, a desk… and the bedroom had a king bed, tv, nice shower in the bathroom, and we loved the beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels provided. Both AC units worked well also, which is always a plus in south FL. There was one in the living room and one in the bedroom. We would definitely stay here again! Great value. Also the housekeeping folks were great. Our only negative was that the TVs weren’t smart TVs. So many places usually have smart TVs that we just assumed we’d be able to log into our Netflix to binge our shows in the evening. I’d suggest maybe getting each apartment a $25 Amazon Fire Stick so the existing TVs can be “smart.” Our only suggestion! We loved Soleado.

The location was nice and convenient. We liked the smaller size of the property. We really wanted to like the place and were looking forward to our stay. But, at check in we were assigned a different room from what was stated in the confirmation email. We got room one hundred seven, which is likely the worst room of the property and nothing at all like the pictures in the listing. It’s on the ground floor with the entrance inside a small passage so it was dark inside and all windows faced walls. Room also felt damp at all times even though we had the AC running. Towels were not changed by room cleaning. The entry door faces the neighbors very loud AC unit. Pool was freezing cold. Parking is $10 a day. If you get a room on the upper floor it may be nice but ours was just disappointing.

Decent stay

Room was spacious and wifi worked well. Great location for beach. I have stayed here before with no issues but this time parking was not free, cable tv didn’t work in living room and hot water was warm at best. The property was clean and in good condition.

The property needs some renovations and updates. Bathroom door was stuck and in poor condition, some rust in the bathroom and stained furniture in the living room.

Ok aber irgendwie enttäuscht…

Leider haben wir uns durch die guten Bewertungen was anderes vorgestellt. Es war alles ok, aber das Houskeeping war sehr enttäuschend. Am ersten Tag kam niemand und am 2. Tag wurde das eine Handtuch auf dem Boden nicht gewechselt. Am meisten hat mich gestört, dass der Boden in 5 Tagen nicht einmal geputzt wurde. Aber das schlimmste war die Klimaanlage. Wir sind wirklich sehr unempfindlich aber die Klima ist so laut, wie ein laufender LKW. Damit kann man unmöglich schlafen. Als wir angekommen sind war ebenfalls das Bett für unseren Sohn nicht gemacht. Auf Nachfrage (via Ring Klingel) sagte man uns, wir sollen das Sofa einfach selbst ausziehen. Aber die Lage ist top!

Nice room but someone entered our room without knocking before checkout and didn’t leave when he saw we were there. He asked if we were leaving soon. It was 10AM and checkout is at 11. Was a bad ending to an otherwise nice stay.

This place is like an apart-hotel. It reminded me of an apartment complex but the rooms were nice. I believe they had some complimentary snacks available. The place was clean and my friend and I had no issues. We walked up to the beach (about 5 mins away) every day. I don’t know if I’d stay here solo since there is no lobby or security but it could be a good option for young adult travelers or a small family.

The little shops around the property were great - the little bakery & especially Grateful Juice (the healthy smoothie place). HOWEVER, if driving remember to pay for parking on the street - I got a $40 ticket for going into the shop, waiting for my avocado toast - then leaving. TICKET! One thing I would ask/suggest for Soleado - our TV basically wouldn't work - we could not get basic channels in the living area - TV in bedroom would not even turn on. : /

A perfect hotel for families and beach access

Great hotel very close to the beach. The room was very big with a fully sticked kitchenette, dining area, sitting room and bedroom. We were travelling with our 10 year old and he had a pull out sofa bed in the sitting room which gave us the bedroom to ourselves. The room also provides beach towels, two beach chairs and an unbrella. Very useful and appreciated.

This is a small hotel. But our suite was spacious and well-equipped. The bed and other furnishings were comfortable. The location is fantastic. We were just two short blocks from the beach, with great cafes and good restaurants nearby. Communications weren’t great but despite that check in was easy. I would recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a great location at a reasonable price.
