Simply put, you get what you pay for. It’s a classic 4- star with no frills but doesn’t disappoint on any variable, if you came in with the right sort of expectation. I would stay here again!

Good stay close to convention centre and riverside

Located along the main business street of St George’s Terrace, this was another hotel I stayed to be close to the Convention Centre as I was attending a conference there. There are steps to navigate but a lift from the ground floor to the entrance is present, but no staff will come out to assist when one is having problems using it. Guess they are all busy looking at screens at the reception. Waiting area is cramp and small. No cafe present. No pool. No gym either. Microwave, cutlery and plates were most useful when heating up stuff bought from outside. Carpet looked old but clean. Overall cleanliness was excellent. It was strange that while there was air conditioning, there existed a small room vent to allow some outside air to get in. Cleaning staff was excellent and my coffee and tea was always refilled. The small milk canisters were a nice touch and so much better than creamer sachets. Movie and tv channels were extremely limited however.

It's horrible that the house-keeping steal stuff from the guest room. So scary that the room is unsafe. This is the first time that I experience this kind of thing in a hotel room. Really scary! I will warn you to think twice before you book a room with Citadines perth city.

Disappointing Stay

Hotel is aging and have seen better days. Toilet is super old, needs to be re-renovated. Bed is on a wheel base that shakes when you sleep. I can hear my neighbours “banging” away the whole night! Not suitable for self drive travellers as parking is super expensive. Go elsewhere in the suburb like Belmont, where there are tons of accomodation with free parking.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for vacations. The staffs were really professional, helpful and nice. The place was clean but there is no carpark in the facilities but opposite it. Not aware of any gym available in the hotel but based on the website I guess maybe a 3rd party gym is nearby. Overall is excellent. Accommodation: Pros: - This hotel room is big and spacious. - Toilet was spacious, separate shower and bathtub available. Toilet is separated by a door from shower, bathtub and the basin. - plenty of kitchen applicants available but was hoping to have a separate oven. It will be good if more plates & bowls were available for preparations of ingredients. - Really love the bed. Very comfy Cons: - It has a mini kitchen which I wish there is a portable table for us to place more stuff. - The view out of the window was okay. - You can still hear some noise at night from the streets. Location of the hotel: It's right on point as it's very accessible to public transport. If you are coming via Terminal 1 & 2, there is a direct bus 380 to the hotel. 10 -15 minutes walk to the Watertown outlet store, 10 - 20 minutes walk to kings park and public busses to kings park are nearby to the hotel. A few minutes walk to Elizabeth Quay and close to Perth Station which will bring you to the most area that you need from Fremantle for Rottnest to Fremantle market to Rockingham for penguin island. Walkable distances to many restaurants, coles & Woolworth.

Excellent!

We have a so acious bedroom with a small kitchen and good shower, should have more hooks and shelves in the shower room though. No housekeeping on Sundays but you can request for it at the front desk, and if you eat at the cafe, they can just charge to your room.
