Hotel offers a good view of the Brisbane river and surroundings. Location is good, quier and safe and the apt is quite spacious and clean. But the bath area needs upgrading. Insufficient lighting and run down. The shower head is not detachable and the floor is slippery.

Evolution Apartments is a serviced apartment block offering units on short-term (as short as 1 or 2 nights) lets as well as longer ones. As such the housekeeping isn't as comprehensive as you'd get in a hotel (they didn't change the bedding or vacuum the carpets every day, in fact only once in our 5 night stay), but we did get clean towels daily and of course it being a long-stay apartment there was a small kitchen and washer / dryer facilities.

Excellent Apartment in the City

It is located within the CBD area and just a few mintues walk to the Queen Street mall. The apartment is fully funished with all the necessary cooking tools to prepare for a simple meal.

Quality apartment

The view was fabulous. The unit is very well laid out and furnishings and kitchen utensils were good quality. Unfortunately, there was a problem with my lock and couldn't get into my room for about an hour. The staff was very good and provided another unit for me to use while I waited for my door to be unlocked. Next day, they changed the lock!

The location of this apartment is very convenience. We have two bedroom and two bathroom apartment. The room is spacious and the river view is wonderful. However I have been advised if you need a daily cleaning to your apartment, you will need to ask for it. We have stayed there for two nights but nobody clear our room. Also the lift can be a problem. This apartment is in a big complex but only has two lifts. One day we have to wait for 15 mins to get onto the lift.

Worth Your While - short or long stays

The best about Evolution Apartments - LOCATION! It is in walking distance from multiple attractions. The accommodation with a view to the river was outstanding! Not a big fan of carpeted halls and room - but it's not a deal breaker since the location is difficult to look past.
