Nice stay in Hotel Faubourg Montreal

The concierge guy name Joshua was very helpful showing us on the map to locate nearby Chinatown- 10 mins walk from here to Notre Dame Church/St Catherine Street/nearest Subway from Hotel and also Mont Royal Park. The hotel suite room we have was big with small kitchen and living area and 2 bedrooms.

On a positive note, the Staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our room heater was not functioning. Room was quite chilly. Maintenance was called and the heater needed replacing so they provided 2 space heaters for the time being. Later the toilet was leaking water on the floor. I asked for another room, which was provided and unfortunately that room had no hot water. Maintenance was called again for repair. It didn’t help as only one person could take a very short shower for 2min max. Manager tried his best to accommodate and gave a small credit for the inconvenience. We also couldn’t sleep as the neighbouring guests were extremely noisy with kids running up and down the halls and knocking on each door. I will never go back to this hotel. Terrible experience.

Lieu idéal pour un séjour en ville. Situation géographique excellente. Les chambres ne sont pas rénovées mais elles sont très propres. Matelas wowww , hyper confos. This hotel room was maybe technically clean but there were stains and rust marks and generally run down. You have to walk through a sketchy area to get to the restaurant and shopping district which was uncomfortable since we were walking with children.
