This is probably my 3rd time staying at this property. So far, the location is one of the key factor for me - walkable to underground (Piccadilly Line, straight from Heathrow too), lots of f&b and supermarkets The rooms are usually spacious and what I like is that there is almost full kitchen facility My past stays, the rooms have always came equipped with a washer dryer which is great. Unfortunately I was told this time ‘only selected rooms’ Still a good stay but can see lots of wear and tear signs Also, somehow the internet connection did not seem To be working as smoothly as before. Staff were all very helpful with this. And overall, they are always friendly and ready to help I would still strongly recommend this property to friends and family!

A young man at the reception was very helpful and cheerful. It was a good start to our stay. Housekeeping was excellent. Gym and laundry facilities were good. Very convenient location, easy access to tube, bus, tourist attractions and supermarkets.

Poor condition of some amenities

The sofa bed needs replacing. Springs are all gone. Air conditioner worked for half an hour each time and then stopped working. The power switch started to blink. Spoke to maintenance who said nothing can be done as other units were also facing the same issue. Time for major refurbishment of the property.

Property maintenance is a bit underwhelming, tired and could be improved. Lack of amenities is disappointing when compared to lower class hotels or residences

Wonderful place to stay

The staff was very helpful and the accommodation was comfortable, quiet and yet very near the Gloucester Road tube station. The Gloucester Road station is served by the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines and therefore, it is very convenient to visit many tourist attractions in London. I think that it is better than a hotel as it also provides cooking facilities.

Staff lovely, accommodation faded glory!

Check-in great, room initially looked good, however room above having shower and water started coming through ceiling via the light above basin. Provided maintenance man, however we did not want to stay in a room where water and electricity was coming together. Reception responded and changed our room gracefully with no quibble, in fact put us into a level up. Unfortunately this room was by main road so little sleep.... the whole place is faded glory, our second room clearly had experienced damp, the paint was showing aging signs and the room was not as clean as one would like. The second room was suitable for someone in a wheel chair, which is great, however the water from the wet room shower did not drain well, and puddled on the bathroom floor. Lovely staff however the accommodation did not stand up.

It would be good if basic amenities eg room slippers can be provided on complimentary basis regardless of length of stay. Also dental kits should have been placed in the guest room prior to guest arrival. Check in was quick and staff on duty were pleasant. Our requests were promptly attended to. Overall, my Daughter and I enjoyed our stay . We will go back when we next visit London.

It was unbearably noisy. The floorboards creaked loudly whenever the guest in the room upstairs walked around his room. There was also a lousy view - facing a brick wall. The air compressors were located below my room and were noisy. The mayonnaise served at breakfast was expired. I had a bathrobe in the room on Day 1, which was removed by housekeeping the next day. I asked the front desk for a new bathrobe and they said it was after hours and they couldn't get hold of one. They did not follow-up the next day as promised. I also then asked housekeeping staff for a bathrobe and she said she would check with her supervisor. I wasn't surprised that I never got one nor got any response to my request. Truly disappointing.

Great location, 5 mins away from V&A museum and Nat History Museum. Close to South Kensington, lots of F&B options, just a few mins walk away. So close to 2 train stations and able to walk towards Hyde Park. Great Waitrose store just minutes away, perfect for stocking up the room fridge. Room amenities were great, kitchenette very clean, housekeeping ladies were great. Dryer and bread toaster were kind of faulty. Front office kindly provided a room early check-in. Negatives: Unfortunately we were greeted by piles of clean blue laundry bags just outside our room corridor each day. Not a pleasant sight to look at. Bedsheets were old and stained.

One of the best accommodations we've stayed in London. Room is clean, spacious and well maintained. Bed is comfortable. A 5 mins walk to Gloucester Road tube station, where there's a Waitrose supermarket and restaurants. Close proximity to Natural History Museum and South Kensington Farmers Market (very small) but with nice food. Had a pleasant stay and would definitely come back again.

Kitchen was fully equipped. Location is convenient and within 5 mins you can get to Gloucester station. Beds are comfortable, including the sofa bed my gals slept on. There was no clear instructions on how to adjust the room temperature and usage of the stove and washer/dryer.
