Due to the CNY crowd, the hotel was not able to manage the morning breakfast well. While it is OK to direct the guests to another venue. the food spread should be comparable to appease the guests. I skipped my breakfast as the alternative venue was not befitting of a 4 star hotel. Btw, it was stated that Hatten Place is a 5 star hotel bt in actual fact, it is a 4 stars hotel. Hotel. com should be more accurate in your presentation.

Worth to stay here

The check in process took awhile to complete but the front desk stuff very helpful so is fine. The room facilities are good in condition but toiletries not given in full set so i still need to call for housekeeping to request for it.

Hatten place, a 2 star in 4 star clothing

This is not a hotel that deserves a 4 star rating, let alone the 5 star rating that Hotels.com gives it on their site. For starters, the hotel is far to big for the amount of employees. This resulted first of all in long check in queues. Tho they have 6 check in desks available, they only have staff to man 2 of them. The shortness on staff also is represented in the complete lack of training, which shows throughout the whole stay. When we finally checked in, we were assigned a room that had obviously seen better days. Odd to us, as the hotel looks to be fairly new. Our first complaints about the room were the copious amounts of dust everywhere (thick visible layers), blood on one of the doors (since even after bringing this up with the hotel, the stain wasn’t removed I decided to do so myself), and black mold in the leaky shower. When brought up, they told us they would fix these issues, and, in all fairness, mitigated most listed issues fairly well. However, the complete lack in any training or common sense did result in housekeeping waking us up in the middle of the night to give us the amenities we requested about 4 hours prior. This wouldn’t have been that big an issue if it wasn’t for the pile of bricks with a sheet on top that has to represent a bed and is the most horrendous thing I’ve ever slept on in my whole life. The breakfast was at least included, but the free for all battle royal feeling that had did not make it any better.

Overall experience from the hotel was fine,just that we are thinking how come room toilet does not supply toothbrush n paste till we request for it. As for their breakfast, food was not replenish quickly,saw alot of guests making noise. Theres 1 staff need to send my compliment to her,she's Kat from F&B cashier,approached her at 11pm ask if she can help me find a slice of cake to give my wife a surprise on her birthday. She manage to run up to next level for me and sell me that slice of cake. Really appreciate her kind service.

Ref#7485017434938, Juliana Bte Mohd Raid I didnt stay at this place because its a distance from the clinic I am suppose to go. I walk-in to Hatten Hotel n overnite there. I am vy upset when I made the reservation online for Hatten Hotel it keeps going back to Hatten Place. After a few attempts I thought I manage to get thru Hatten Hotel Reservation. I didnt realised that it had gone back to Hatten Place. So I made the payment. After payment I realise that it is Hatten Place & not Hatten Hotel Malacca. Any chance of getting a refund from yr end. It was very noisy, and though the room was decent, I don’t think it is 4 stars standard, there was some stains on the wall and tables. I think it’s alright but I would definitely not come back again.

Room with thick cobweb

Stayed at this hotel almost every week, but this trip is horrible. The marble top for the sink is cracked. There is thick cobweb in the wardrobe.

Overall nice place but not five star

Not a five star hotel. The quality of the room etc would rather classify as 3.5 stars. Had issues with our safety box and took them almost an hour to fix where we had to sit and wait for them instead of getting another room. Not too easy to access unless going there by car.

Seal the lapse

The location was a bit out of the way despite there’s a free shuttle bus service offered However, the waiting time for the service was an hour interval which I personally felt that there still a room for further improvement. Besides, the hotel elevator pausing time was bit too long (>8sec) and I thought was being trapped inside the lift when I first time entered the elevator.

Room was not cleaned when we came back at 3PM. Front desk did not informed that we had to switch on the Pls clean my room‘ switch by the door. Amenities in the bathroom is very mininal. There’s no comb or shaver or cotton buds. The shower gel smell unpleasant BUT the pillows are very comfortable. Slept well
