Convenient location

This is an old hotel which will be closing its door end May 2019. Considering its age, its keep in a good shape. Rooms are a bit small, as of city hotels in Japan, but nevertheless the location is wonderful, being just 7-8 minutes walk to Hakata station. The toilet is functional with good shower pressure but somehow there’s an odour that cant be rid... this is the only complain that I have.

I have been staying in this hotel for many time but this visit I am a bit concern. On the first day I arrived, the front desk is not very friendly which I am very surprise because this is for sure not the usual Japanese culture. Smoking room condition was prettt bad, the stale smell was pretty bad in the room.

1. For the price paid for this hotel, it will be better to stay at a cheaper hotel nearer to Hakata train station. There are many hotels at a cheaper rate within a 100 metres radius from Hakata Train Station. This hotel is about 300 metres from Hakata Station and shopping area 2. Non smoking room was not available and strong stench of cigarette in the room 3. Overall condition of room and comfort of stay were satisfactory, equivalent to a 3 star hotel. 4. Some service staff unable to understand English

The hotel is ok. It’s about 10 mins walk to Hakata station but it’s not so convenient when you have to lug your luggage to the hotel. Though I’ve asked for non-smoking room, the room still smell of cigarettes & mouldy. The room is dated and in need of renovation.

Closer to the Airport

Reason I chose this was the journey to the airport is supposed to be shorter then other hotels at Hakata and indeed it is so. We doorman was very friendly and helped us with the luggage. Well, you'll know how much you have to carry if you have an infant and a toddler with you. We were usher to the 7th floor to check in at the lounge which was great as there are food and drinks there. The room is a little small but served the purpose for a night due to the early morning flight home. The hotel is a bit of distance to walk to the Hakata station

Comfortable stay

Not far to walk to JR Fukuoka station, just straight down the Main Street and probably 10-15 min walk with luggage. Opposite side of the JR station from Canal City and the yatai stalls side. Breakfast had a decent selection of both western and Japanese options. The egg omelette is very good with truffle taste!

Size matters

Great location. About 8 mins walk to hakata station. Service was great. Size of the room was a big plus as Japanese rooms can be very small!!

博多駅から徒歩5、6分くらいの立地が、かえって喧騒から逃れられて良いと思う。室内の設備の古さは否めないが、非常に綺麗に清掃されているし、ベッドリネンの質もよく大変気持ちよく滞在できた。フロントスタッフ、クリーニングスタッフも皆さんとても親切丁寧でした。館内レストランは利用しませんでしたが、朝食ブュッフェはいただいてみたかった。

GWに家族で宿泊させて戴きました。 駅からちょっと距離がありますが、部屋は広く静かで快適でした。 お部屋はきれいだったのですが、残念ながら虫がでたりしたので、その分評価を下げさせてもらいました。 あとWorld Of Hyattの宿泊履歴をつけて下さいとお願いしていたのですが、1ヶ月近くたっても、まだ反映されません。ポイントは０でもいいので、宿泊履歴がほしいのでお願いしたのですが、音沙汰ないです。

ハイアットブランドを期待して初めて利用させて頂きましたが、少し残念でした。清掃が行き届いていますが古さが否めません。立地も博多駅筑紫口から歩ける範囲ですが少し遠く、周囲にコンビニ1件しかありません。目の前が公園なのですが夜は暗く、不安でした。早朝チェックアウトしましたがフロントはおらず、タクシーも居ませんでした。
