I don’t think the cabin had been used for weeks and hadn’t been checked over. Too many dead insects everywhere including about 30 flies on the bedspread. I took photos as it was hard to believe.

Gorgeous area..

Although brief, this area is beautiful!! Simplicities, pure nature, and only an hour or 2 from Brisbane city. Gorgeous drive from here to Brisbane too. The room was almost perfect, large fridge, comfortable bed, only downfall for me, were people playing loud music at 6am, but that's not the parks fault. And there were a few hairs in the bed and around toilet floor. Nothing drastic, but I did notice them. All in all, I would absolutely go back!!

Upon entering, the cabin had a strong, disgusting smell of chlorine/bleach, which persisted during our one-night stay no matter how much we tried to air it out. There were no bedside lamps just a fluoro ceiling and kitchen lights. It's been quite an unpleasant stay, unfortunately.

Overall it was very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and having a full size frig with a freezer excellent. 😀 The shower needs attention as water leaks outside the door while in use. We had clothes on the floor at the end of the bed which got wet! ☹️
