Convenient location for shopping

The hotel is a bit difficult to access with luggage as they are many stairs to climb and transport cannot access to the lobby. They are 2 big pillars right next to our bed in our room that make us feel uncomfortable and inconvenient. I will prefer the Roomzzz at Princess street and also felt that the staff at the other Roomzzz are more helpful and friendly.

Location is good. Near to malls and supermarkets. Kitchen well equipped. Very very basic amenities- no toothbrush, shower cap, no bedroom slippers (had to purchase with a set of bathrobe if I needed) Reception service staff except the one at checkout was cold- no greeting no smile. On an occasion, we asked for advice on transportation and was told to take a bus that was not operating at that time. Luckily we realised it after waiting for more than 10 minutes at the bus stop!

Fantastic stay at Roomzzz. Central location close to the shops (and Christmas markets in December). Tram stop was right opposite hotel, and the National Football Museum a short walk away too.

Location at the very best in Manchester

The location is fantastic. The tram station/stop is right infront of the hotel, which makes travelling around the city and Old Trafford easy. But everywhere is in walkable distant away, so tram is redundant. Roomzzz is like an apartment/hotel concept, so there is a living room and kitchen area. It is nice and new. There are pubs/restaurants within 1-2 minutes walk away, so location wise, I think it is perfect. National Football Museum and Manchester Cathedral is also 3 minutes walk away. Manchester Arndale (shopping mall enclave) is directly opposite, so you can do your shopping there as well. As this place is formally an "exchange", the exterior and walkways/lift lobby is unique. The only negative is that, the pavement/walkway from the taxi stand to the hotel lobby is made of cobbled road, so dragging a 25kg luggage is a hassle.

Hospital stay....?

It was just OK for the price paid. We were given a special needs room with a bathroom that looked like it belonged in a hospital. We are abled people and while we thought that it would have been great for those that need the facilities, we werent enamered with our bright orange emergency pull cords located arounf the room. When i mentioned this to reception, and that we'd prefer a bath or normal shower, they werent bothered and said no. For a room that cost over 200 quid for one night, i wouldnt recommend to anyone.

Fabulous location

Only stayed 1 night as we were going to the AO arena to see Peter Kaye, wished we had booked more though. Right next to the Arndale Center if you want to go shopping and on the Corn Exchange, got it's own little area for guests of the hotel, fabulous location, lovely room

The hotel was lovely and clean. I upgraded to the “grande suite” but the view was terrible (no view) and it was an accessible room with wash room, etc. I’m not sure if we got the wrong room or if that is the “grande”. Overall it was clean and staff were friendly. Probably not worth the money.
