Awesome staff

The staff at City Residence Strasbourg was very welcoming and helpful during my stay. Room was clean and spacious and glad that it had a kitchenette. Location was within a 10-minute walk to the train station and five minutes to Place des Halles for all my grocery needs. Thank you again.

The room was simple and a bit old but still well taken care of, even with a kitchen. Unfortunately the bathroom had quit the strong sewer like smell even though it was clean. Overall a good offering for the price

A simple accommodation facility 13-15 min walk from the center and train station of Strasbourg. Cleaning maybe once every few days. The room has a stove, fridge, dishes, kettle, tea and instant coffee. The rooms are rather tired. Sometimes it can be noisy as the rooms are not soundproofed.

Location is good. 10 Minutes walk to the central station. Supermarket nearby. Not far to the city centre. The building itself is outated. The rooms are very basic and in strong need for a facelift. No air conditioning and a very loud fan. Still it is a place to sleep and not expensive.

Bad experience

It is a very dirty and dusty room. I stayed 6 days no clean bedding and the room wasn’t clean. I have to book an extra day make 7 before my room was clean. Poor service and the atmosphere is gross.

We returned to our room door left open twice. Despite ensuring it was closed when we left. Walls were quite thin and it sounded like someone was opening our door anytime someone on our floor opened a door at night. Overall nice stay, just had some concerns about safety.

Cost-effective, good location and comfortable to stay. You can use a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and a coffee machine. The building is a bit old and the shower is a little inconvenient, because there is no soap dish or something similar in the shower booth. Attention, the reception does not take any letters or parcels from outside for you, so it is not possible to ask Amazon to ship anything to the hotel reception in your place.

I stayed at this hotel for one night as it is within walking distance of the train station – convenient for a short stay. On the positive side, the bathroom was clean, though it could use some modernization. The overall furniture is functional but quite outdated. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was worn out and not very comfortable. For a single night, the hotel is okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay.
